My name is Kirsten; I'm 23 years old and from New York. I'm currently in Graduate school for Nutrition.

I adore thrift shopping and altering/sewing clothes and making jewelry, ATC's, and inchies, as well as painting and art journaling.

Me in a nutshell = DIY, photography, jewelry making, baking, art. I'm very much influenced by music; many of my friends are musicians and in bands, some of which are on indie record labels. I also go to shows as much as possible, and do a lot of live music photography. I had my first photography show at an art gallery last December 2010.

I love my nikon d40 and my sewing machine. I'm planning on reteaching myself how to play piano.

I'm fascinated by skulls and skeletons, but not the cutesy type. the kind that you see in an anatomy or anthropology class. anything having to do with animal skulls i will probably like as well, such as pendants, atc's, etc.

I also love anything with map/globe prints! i plan on starting a vintage globe collection very soon.

i love recycling, and making old things into new things.
