I enjoy connecting to people across the globe through the postal system and mail art. I collect postage stamps, bus and train tickets, and other ephemeral bits of everyday life. Making prints from my hand carved stamps is one of my favorite hobbies, so let me know if you'd like to trade hand printed ATCs or postcards.
I should spend more time outside, so I'm off to swim, or just float and watch the clouds.
Some favorite artists: Miriam Makeba, Keith Jarrett, Chopin, Dave Brubeck, Baguette Quartette, Rupa and the April Fishes, Beethoven, Tango No. 9, Vince Guaraldi, Andre Segovia, Allman Brothers, Camille, Sanjay Divecha, Lyle Lovett
Graph paper and old ledger paper; linen; the end pages of books where they explain the typeface; the smells of gasoline, saw dust, and fiberglass resin; the fragrance of gardenias, sweet peas, and honeysuckle. I'm told sweet olive and linden blossoms have wonderful scents but I'm still in search of these mysteries.

Amy your ATCs are awsome!!! I love your creativity, the stamps are great. The envie you sent it in was gorgeous too. I will be sending you another ATC this week. I read on someones profile they prefer stamps to that printed postage pad sticker after seeing your envie I agree!! I would love to continue swapping. Thanks!! E.
"Meeting" people like you is the reason I still do public swaps! Yay!
I do letterboxing, which also uses the stamps that I carve. It's a lot of fun. You should check into it. atlasquest dot com. (My trail name is Witch Kittin there). I was so happy to get a letter from home! Thank you!! I miss the manzanita bushes there. And, the seasons. And Rollins Lake. And....... well, just about everything!!!! :-)
