I'm a single, quircky 26 year old bartending massage therapist. I'm a country girl moving to the city. We'll see how that works out! I have a long list of hobbies I would like to persue, I can do that in the city - without having to drive 3 hours for them anyway! I will be moving into an apartment, so while I will have designated crafting space I will be so sad to say goodbye to my large craft room. :(

I love international items (not touristy), and I love to travel (anti-tourist style). I esp. love anything to do with European countries - I traveled from Italy to Sweden last summer and fell in looooove with every country I visited. I would love to learn about lifestyle, fashion, recipes, etc.

I love paper crafts and making mixed media collages with paper, ribbon, old and tarnished silverware, beeswax, canvas, vintage materials/photos/letters. I love giving old things new life. I love to alter old jars, bottles, books, pillar candles and just about anything else I can get my hands on.

I enjoy making Singed Organza flowers for brooches, hair clips and decor.

I absolutely adore what Ive seen being done with felt/stuffies these days, I have my heart set on starting a sweet little collection of desserts. I want to start making felties too, I would love to starter kit!

I have always loved making/putting together gifts for people - Its ok if they are "strangers" I just enjoy the process.

I love to feel connected to 'the outside world', I live in a town of 80 people, I need it!!

"Machines don't have hands, and only hands can create art." I'm very tired of only having things that I can find in the local Walmart or Supervalu, I love handmade things or loca/regional things.

I love to see other artist/crafters works, but have very limited options while living the rural life.

I live waaay out in the country so buying supplies means a 'trip into the city', which rarely happens! (And 'the city' only has one craft store anyway)

My heart skips a beat for stuff you would find in an old man's garage - rusty pieces of metal findings, old small jars and bottles, dented dinged rusted and random things from long ago.

Same with stuff you would find in an a little old ladie's craft room - vintage findings: lace, ribbon, pompoms, glass glitter, vintage wallpaper, old postcards, old hat pins, broken bits of china - you get the idea ;)

Colors

I love all colors with the exception of primary colors - bleh. I am in a light blue/turquoise/retro red/white phase. Also in a sweet, vintagey pastel phase at the moment. Earth tones are wonderful. Citrus colors are just lovely.
