Garden
I grow a garden in the summer. My grandparents were German immigrants who were farmers in Deutchland. They continued the tradition here, so I think the gardening is in my Bavarian bloodline! I live in suburbia so I only have a backyard garden. I enjoy it, but I never seem to get very much produce. Part of it is for exercise and recreation. I have good success with tomatoes and peppers.
Postcards
The main reason that I trade postcards here is to use the postcards for Postcrossing. Please send me postcards of places or items from the US. I enjoy sending postcards of sights around the US to my overseas partners. If you are a partner from overseas please send me postcards from your country.

Please only send me unused/unwritten postcards. I want to be able to use the postcards for postcrossing. I do not like the postcards that are meant for you to color.
Buildings, Bridges, Beaches, Norman Rockwell, Monuments, Fountains, old cars, Theaters, State Capitols, Operas, Broadways shows, movie stars.
Colors
My favorite color is blue. It is a hard shade to describe, but it is the color of the sky on a bright sunny day. It is also the bright blue in a blue jay. One of the rooms in my house is painted that color and I have many shirts in that color.
