My first year anniversary was great. Hubby came up with great ideas and totally surprised me. I felt like a brand new bride. :) I'm a mother of 5 beautiful children and a nana to the most beautiful grandchild. I now have only one child at home. Im so happy to be a first time grandmother! I had no idea that I would feel so exited about being a grandmother. hee hee. But, she will call me Nana Sweets, not granny, grammy or grandma. I enjoy doing so many things. One of cooking. I just started my own catering business. Cooking can be an art. You can make up so many different dishes. I had my first tasting event last month (Nov 2007). The mayor made a surprise visit. I catered a wedding this past summer. That was an experience! When I cater part of the money I make always goes to a local charity. I love sending packages to people. We live in age where we can communicate online and send e-cards. I still send paper cards via snail mail. I send packages and its always fun to recieve! My family and friends are always excited when they find out I have sent a package out to them. My brother said it's like Christmas year 'round for him. I like to write and read. I buy all types of journels and keep them on my headboard ready to start writing. I'm completing a book. It should be finished by the end of 2008. Scrapbooking, candy making, cooking ( I know some don't consider cooking a craft, but that is what I do for a living ;) I have to add that I am currently taking cake decoratoring classes and I love it! I have to complete my fondant classes. Im looking forward to that.

I love gospel, smooth jazz, old school music without all the cursing in it and intrumental music. Basically, if it has a message and i move my head to it, it's all good.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. My mother, used to make Thanksgiving a time to remember! She would prepare so much food and many different kinds of food. Family would come over and we would have a ball! I start my menu a month in advance and always have the children pick something that they would like to cook.

Pink is the new purple for me. I also like lime green, orange, sage, lavender. 2/18/10: I'm still loving pink. 11/17/2011 Pink is no longer my favorite color. I still like it very much, but I don't have a favorite color at the moment.

Soft blankets. Samples such as perfume, cosmetics, candy, tea. I like Jolly Ranchers and Now and Later candy (apple is the best!), I like all types of hard candies except the strawberry wrapped, jelly filled kind. Different types of teas. Kitchen stuff, gift cards, stuff with my name on it, hearts, making my own jewerly, and collecting greeting cards, bubble bath and gels, hair accesories, stickers.

Birthday and wedding cake, strawberry stuff, sushi, diamonds, gum, candy, lip gloss, cookbooks, vanilla scented ANYTHING, candles, socks, journels, all types of stationery, pens, pencils, and did I mention birthday and wedding cake? Oh, I sure did!

Rose and lemongrass scents. Horror related things, skulls, etc. Anything reptilian or spider related. Heavy metal music. Cigerette smoke. People who dont give consideration to others needs. I have to stop there because I could go on and on.

I collect journels, pens, pencils, strawberry stuff (I recently lost all of my strawberry stuff and have to start all over), keychains, candles, different types of gum and candy, socks and things w/my name on it.

I make candy cakes,and make gift baskets among other little neat things. If you are interested in a private swap, let me know.
