I am a single mom to a son in middle school and a daughter in college, educator and fiber/mixed media artist.
I do not check my po box daily, sometimes not even weekly. I always rate my received swaps.
As a fiber artist, I'm into doing crochet, beading, dying( tie dye, batik, dye painting), and embroidery. Recently I got into art quilting and needle felting. I also like drawing with prismacolor colored pencils and ultra fine line permanent markers. And, I make ATCs. The picture on my profile is a burned out velvet scarf that I dyed.

Please consider becoming a bone marrow donor/ stem cell donor by joining the National Marrow Donor Program.
Donor Site for those in Europe
You could "Be the Match" and have the unique opportunity of saving someone's life.In case you're wondering, marrow and stem cell donation is done while you're alive. It's much simpler than giving someone a kidney.
This is an issue that is very close to home for me. My daughter had received a peripheral stem cell transplant from a donor in the registry in July 2010. Her donor is in Germany!

I sent the Holy Crap That's Small swap a week ago tomorrow and since you live in the same state it should arrived by now. I will be putting up photos of my recent sent swaps today. :)
thanks for the envie of fabric scraps which arrived today from the fabric fanatics group tag!! Thanks:)
Thank you for the lovely selection of teas for my CPG April Wishlist! I can certainly use them! :)
Hi Mindy! Thank you for a lovely assortment of non-touristy PCs for my March wish on CPG! They will come handy for Postcrossing. ;)
Thanks for sending postcards from the wishlist. So fun to get things in the mail.
SMASH It: Let's Keep Smashing/Junking #9 Just wanted to add that my plan is to make a journal using cereal-box-weight pages. Strong enough to hold whatever I choose to stick to it. Plus, different size pages to give it a really abstract look. I have purchased five (5) K&Company SMASH books - but haven't started on any of them. They seem to be too structured. Just my 2 cents worth. Again, many thanks for the goodies.
Hi Mindy, I'm delighted that you liked the embroidery threads and the WTA :o) Happy swapping!
Thank you for the CPG envies of randomness, i finally received it!! Loved it all, especially the recipe card and the stickers! Thank you!
