About Me

I am a science nerd! I teach high school biology and my husband is a retired wildlife biologist. We have an 18 year old daughter who will be starting college this fall and a 10 year old son who loves animals, Minecraft, and silly videos. We just moved back to the States after living in Shenzhen, China for 3 years, so I can't wait to get back into swapping!

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS:

Animals-- bats are my favorite, but I love anything to do with any wild animal.

Colors-- purple and green

Music-- female folk singers, alt. rock, classic rock (and Euro pop!).

Crafts-- spinning and knitting, but really I love it all. Oh, and I've just gotten into throwing pottery (on a wheel, not across the room).

Food-- Vegan keto...which is a pretty boring diet, to be honest.

Books-- Sci-fi, but I like it all (well, not really mysteries or romance).

A FEW OF MY LEAST FAVORITE THINGS: The color orange, overtly religious stuff, things with farm animals, guns/drugs/violent imagery.

Comment: I'm assuming, since you're the only one left in my partners, that you sent the Horchata recipe. There is no identification on the card so I'm using process of elimination. The recipe sounds very much like something I've had and enjoyed, so I'll now be able to make it at home! I find the card to be especially my taste also. Adorable! Thank you Dawn
