I am silly and love knitting, photography, sewing, cooking and all things crafting. I love traveling meeting new people and I am a foodie. Blue is my number one favorite color but truth be told I love color. Red, light green and lavenders are my new favorites. I am silly and I love to laugh, I love wine & martinis and everything that goes with them. I believe fine chocolate or lemon bars are a cure all, I love to eat, I am a total foodie. I am a self taught cook which I love, I have a interesting cookbook collection. I studied fashion and marketing. I love to go to thrift stores and find cashmere sweaters to bring back to life to wear or repurpose with my handy dandy sewing machine. I love vintage, shabby chic, rustic, retro, french, beachy and modern styles. I love magnolia trees, smile one day I want to have a few in my garden.I Love Southern food yum,& "darlin' pour me some sweet tea" I have joked for years I should have been from the south. But give me some Italian food, mexican, french, japanese, thai and more... love ethnic food take a peek in my pantry. But I love my jeans and flip flops, yet I also love to dress up with my high heels, perfume and fabulous clothes. I have two loveable dogs both are rescues "Johan Santana" is a shiztu and "Bentley" is a maltese. I have two fabulous kiddos ds is in college and dd is a senior. My brillant dh rounds out the tribe and we always have a blast together.

There is nothing so wonderful as wearing handmade socks I walk taller and they put a bounce in my step yum. I always cast both socks on dpns I am so afraid of second sock symdrome. One day I may learn one of those two on one or two I can also be found at Ravelry and at sauvageblue.blogspot.com my blog needs serious updating I had stopped knitting and blogging for over a year and a half. Life was beyond busy.

knitting, food, cooking, traveling, photography, shopping at the farmers market, upbeat music, reading and audio books, laughing and dancing on tables. I love fabric, I love cashmere, I love yarn, I enjoy going to thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales, I like driving fast cars gardening, sewing, I love the outdoors and standing under waterfall on a hot day, I love the beach. I love starfish's.
I love blank journal books especially leather or leather looking, I call them my inspiration books so I can jot down a idea or sketch a idea or thought. I love little writing pads to carry in my purse. I love beautiful writing instrument from small dainty ones to lovely wooden and metal ones, even fountain pens and felt tipped, fine pens and rollerballs.

I have to say these shows get Tivo'd and I watch on weekends or late at night fast forwarding through commercials and now knitting again. I just adore yarn yummy yarns merinos, hand spun, hand dyed. I love trying out new yarns. With all the new combinations of yarns it has been amazing wool and bamboo, bamboo and silk, soy, cashmere, cotton and wool its endless. I do not care for acrylic yarn and I will have to say I have become a bit of a yarn snob I love hand spun and hand dyed yarn there are so many creative talented yarn artists. I don't care for big chain store brand yarn except for cotton for dishcloths.

Blues from the lightest of blues to periwinkle and navys. I love deep saturated and varigated yarns that inspire seasons or the seashore or the colors of seaglass or a sunrise or sunset. Colors of freshly ripened fruit I love color!

On a quick note - Ocean Blues and Reds

I am on my new mission, smile! trying to be a bit more green each day and recycle and be considerate of our world. So I have always used kitchen towels I am a quite a bit vintage girlie in that respect and I still call them teatowels. So with this new washcloth craze I have fallen in love with I can't wait to get some! 4/16/08 - I have made my first couple of kitchen cloths, fun, fun, fun.... I made a few fun shapes, can't share yet they are for swaps. But I did sneak in a few pictures on my blog* I want to have oodles of cotton dishcloths I love them. In all shapes and sizes I love them! I want one of those crocheted market bags I love them! I wish I crocheted I would make a few.

I love love, love, love aprons! I like new, vintage, fun, flirty & bright colors. I like full aprons and bib style (ssshhh, don't tell anyone I am a very messy cook and I end up with food all over me, smile!) I am looking for a pattern for a handy dandy craft apron, one of those small ones used for a fair or carnival to put money in. I decorate during holidays and I would like to use it for my staple gun, cell phone, sissors, florist wire, etc...

I love recipe cards, any new & different cooking related items, I collect recipes & recipe books I am looking for recipe boxes, I don't have one and have been looking everywhere

Tea- I adore tea, I drink tea all day everyday, love loose tea & tea bags both and all tea related items. Brewing items, tea holders, tea diffusers, I adore tea cups and porcelain cups are special, tea pots any type, a tea cozy I don't have one. I love special blends but I don't like all fruit teas or heavy smokey teas. The blossom teas are fun I have seen those online.
