I'm new to Swapping and am excited to join the swaps.

I am married to a wonderful man, and have a 13 year old son. We live in the Philippines.

I love doing mixed media crafts and have a craft business here in the Philippines. I have been scrapbooking ever since I was 10 years old.

I like to read and usually read several books at one time. I do collages,and pastel and crayon etching, and mixed media work. I am now in the process of making journals out of some vintage leather jackets.

I do not eat chocolates (for the candy swap!)

I get inspired when I read arts and craft magazines (Cloth Paper Scissors, all the Somerset Publications), books, and blogs of artists.

It's totally against the grain for me to throw things. I always save scraps, I save seeds, bits and pieces of fabric, ribbons, even toilet paper rolls. I guess I got it from my mom who still recycles everything. She used to make our clothes when we were young and then make stuffed toys from the scraps. She made Christmas decor out of felt scraps and eggshells, banks out of plastic bottles, dolls out of cardboard tubes, etc.

I love craft materials (paper, cardboard, die cuts, buttons, cloth, thread, paints of all kinds and colors, gesso, stencils, beads, you name it). I also love journals because I have kept diaries since I was in grade school, and now I keep an art journal.
