Hello . my name is peachynook .. I am retired and I've been married to a wonderful man for nearly 56years .. we have 5 children all married and living somewhere in this big country .. they have given us 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren .. we live in Queensland which is a state in Australia a lovely climate . we don't have any domestic pets as we are out and about a lot , but we have plenty of wild animals and birds in our block which we have spoilt I love visiting friends and helping when I can
My favourite music is mainly country but I like most types .like old time music hall , dance music by some of the big bands like benny goodman Mantovani and many others , I also like light classical and opera's but I don't like this modern RAP
my favourite books are craft books . I buy them I read them and copy any pattern I want then I send them of to friends . i like reading the small weekly books and doing the cross words and competions etc..
my favourite movies were Ghost .. and A coal miners daughter .. some of the old English comedies but we've not been to the movies for ages
my favourite t/v programs are documentaries showing different places , countries , and cultures but we watch the talent shows and some old English mystery stories
my favourite crafts are card making especially stitching cards , but I like all crafts and have a go at all of them I do knit and crochet and I sew a little , and I want to learn to work with liquid chalks and shrink plastics I am also trying to teach myself to make jewelry .and I've gone back to doing some embroidery .which I can do in the evenings
I love anything to do with any crafts I love all colours and animals and fairies and pixies in fact I love all sorts of things ..and I love home made things , because friends have took the trouble to make them I'd loveto be able to paint but I look at a canvas and put it away again for another day
I hate rude people and tradesmen who don't bother to phone when they say they will or other people who look at us as if we can't afford any thing
I try to be very easy going ' I love surprises , I try to be friends withevery one I meet we, Hubby and I love camping and travelling , but as the years go by , we don't go too far now a days I try to go to craft fairs when I can either with my friend , or hubby comes with me I love to look around recycle shops and op shops , and it's amazing what I have found especially craft stuff ..

Thanks for the bingo prize! Lol though you didn't have to! I have never seen a kit like the frame one - that looks very interesting! Hope you're feeling better :)

Ok Miss Peachy! I can now finally say a HUGE HUGE Thank You for your Great Bingo package that you sent me. WOW!!! I love everything. I adore the tiny christmas ornies your friend made. My boys put one each on the tree, I'll take a photo when I can. So a Thank You to both you and your mate for such a lovely envie, just perfect for Christmas. {Hugs}, L. {=D
Oh wow! Your package was amazing. It made my day. I cannot wait to start crafting with those cards and envies. Not to mention the cross stitch. Giggled myself silly when I saw it. Wonder what she is going to do with that glue gun. Thanks again :)

Hello lovely, thanks so much for the fabric remnants you sent me for the Active Aussie Swapaholics group October wish list. Especially love the Christmas one!
Just got my October wishlist package - and LOVE it! Thanks very much for the knitting needle gauge - the collection is very slowly growing. I have recently read Forbidden Love by Norma Khoury which was written as an autobiographical account but was later found to be fiction. This one is in the same general vein (forced to marry) and looks interesting. Many thanks.
Hope you have a great day Audrey xxx
