I am a mother, grandmother, crafter, toymaker, woodworker, recycler and a tinkerer.

Things I like: reading, collecting postcards from around the world, crafting, travel, playing the piano or guitar, playing with my kitties, gardening birdwatching

I do not watch movies or TV

I am also very allergic to scented items, so please do not ever send me anything that is scented.

Favorite music: Mostly I like folk music, but anything pretty suits me.

I am also learning to play the piano, and will be soon making my own ukelele, so sheet music for either of those instruments, as well as any guitar music.

Recycled and repurposed art-I work with cd's, floppy disks, records, puzzles, calendars, cards, maps and many other items

I also like to travel, mostly within the US. I have been to most of the Continental states, Canada, Mexico and the US Virgin Islands. Someday I would like to go to Alaska, Holland and Ireland.

I love most animals, especially tortoises, cats, frogs and dragonflies.

My favorite birds are meadowlarks, red-winged blackbirds, red-tailed hawks, barn swallows, and owls of any kind.

I collect Pinocchio figurines, squashed pennies, small 3-D puzzles, miniature figurines and Wade animals.

I love amigurumi.

I like most Bigelow teas, especially Constant Comment, Earl Gray, Oolong, and English Teatime. I also like Martilnelli's sparkling cider and most dry white wines, especially Chardonnay, Muller-Thurgau, or Pinot Gris.

I do not like discussions about religion or politics. I do not like peppermint or chamomile tea. I do not drink coffee or beer.
