My computer crashed the other day. I can only get to a computer everyother day and for only an hour at a time so this means there will be swaps still up that have been sent. Also will not be able to get mail answered right away. Hopefully this will only be for no more than a week. I am so confused when buying a new computer.

I am a young 50 something. I found this site when I was a member of a Yahoo pen pal group. I have been swapping and pen paling since I was 13. I have been writing to some for over 20 years. We really grew up together.

I swap postcards, stickers and ATCs.

I love cats and really all animals. My big collections are paper dolls and postcards. I have been collecting them for many years.

I read a variety of books. Now I am reading detective novels. Mostly by Stuart Woods and Johnathan Kellerman. I also love the "Cat Who " books. I like history and my favorite magazines are Good Old Days and Remenice.

I have a degree in Child development and Family Relations but have found the social services field is so full of bureaucracy that to many fall threw the cracks that really do need help. Help is so expensive that only those that are poor or have good insurance can afford it and that is because of the amount of bureaucracy. So now I am being underpaid in a job that really isn't to bad as far as a job goes.

I have 3 great kids, Sarah 24, she is also a member of Swap-Bot. She saw me making ATCs one day and she said, "I can make those too." So she did and has been making them ever since. Mary is attending Clarion University for library science and just joined SB. David is a senior, he plays the drums in the school band. He just joined the Navy. I have mixed emotions but his reasoning is sound. Now if he would just understand that he still needs to turn in his homework. 5 animals round out the household. Two dogs, Sam and Sophie, three cats, Cookie, Bella and Oreo. All are quite spoiled.

I do not have cable. I had it shut off a while back when I got laid off of my job and never turned it back on. To much money for nothing to watch. When I found another job I got the internet turned on first and was introduced to Netflix. I love it and I love the old TV shows. Any one out there like the original "Hawaii 5O?" I can make my kids complain after watching the third episode in a row. I do miss the weather and news show from cable but I prefer Netflix. I do love Paranormal", "Ghost hunters" and other paranormal themes shows, fiction or non-fiction. I also like to sit back and watch a good documentary. Netflixs need to put 'I Love Lucy" on.

Some think I am a bit weird. I like to listen to old time radio shows.

My only craft at this time are ATCs. I have crocheted, plastic canvas, sewn, and done ceramics in my life.

I never heard of ATC before I joined Swap-bot. My style is simple. I do not clutter an ATC with stuff just to put stuff on it. I like to stick to a theme when making one. I am having so much fun with them but an artist I am not. I do not draw free hand so I have to rely on catalogs, calenders, cards ext for pictures.

Swaps: for postcards I prefer in an envelope but naked is fine especially if the swap calls for that.

Flat swaps: Any type of item that I can use on an ATC. I do use alot of different stuff on ATCs. I like anything vintage or that looks vintage.
I have a collection of greeting cards pre-1970. I like anything bicentennial.
I am not a picky, self focused person and if you put some thought into a swap I'm fine with it.
I like any animal especially cats, anything with a cat on it is a go. I am addicted to paperdolls so if you send me anything paper doll you are a big hit. Home made, store bought, cut or uncut anything. Big thanks to people who have put them in my swaps. Religious items are okay especially Christmas, so don't be afraid to send me a religious card. I am really easy to please so relax and enjoy the swap. I also would like items from any religion.

Dislikes: My only dislike is pictures from the internet that are to blurry to see what the picture is. If I can't use what you send I will send it on to someone who can. I guess I can say that I really do not use any type of fabric at this time. But again if you have it to send in a swap I will just pass it on and no fears I will rate you low for it.

I am not allergic to anything so no worries there.
