I like sending and receiving mail-postcards, letters, treats, random stuff.
I love fonts, typography, graphic design, popular culture, photography, letterpress design, and calligraphy.
I collect cameras/photography related stuff and postcards and ephemera and craft supplies and books.
I am a high school English teacher, single without kids, and I have a dog named Gulliver. I just love sending treats to people by mail! Swapping is something I take pride in doing, and I would never intentionally flake. If you haven't received something from me, please message me and I'll resend.
LIKES I love photography, black and white cards, cards with unusual typography, cameras or typewriters, and alphabets or text.
I have ordered unique pcs from Redbubble, a site that enables artists to sell their designs in a variety of formats (note cards and pcs, towels, art prints, etc.). I really like the quality of the pcs I ordered, and I got 30% off because I ordered more than 8 pcs. (I don't know if that discount was a promotion or if it's standard.)
DISLIKES Touristy postcards are okay but not my favorite.
I sometimes do Project Life (not every week, just when I have the time), and I usually do Ali Edwards‚ĄĘs yearly One Little Word project. I love sending and receiving mail. I have a subscription to Pipsticks, a the monthly sticker pack.
I'm single without kids so my PL album is kind of a journal mixed with some photos of my dog and me. I don't use that many embellishments, but sometimes I can't resist. Punctuation marks and alphabets are two of my favorites.
Washi tape--Chevrons, silver, stars, stripes, rainbow, ombre, and unusual patterns
Pens--I love Pigma Micron 05 (that's 0.45 mm) by Sakura in any color, and I like Sharpie pens (not the markers). I use a black one to write pcs & notes. I also like PaperMate InkJoy gel pens; they come in a rainbow of colors and medium & fine tips. JetPens is a great online source for good pens. They sell component pens in many varieties so much cooler than the 4-color ballpoint variety. And I just discovered Pentel Hybrid Dual Metallic pens; I love them: glittery goodness!
Markers--I mostly use a bullet-tip set by Stabilo and dual-tip set by PrismaColor for my coloring needs. I wish I could get PrismaColors in every color, but at $3/marker, that's not going to happen. They are so smooth and saturated though! (Although that saturation means they bleed through thin paper.)
Notecards--I love clever, ironic, and/or endearing cards. If they're letterpress, even better. Some brands I love: Elum, Hello!Lucky, Smudge Ink, Snow and Graham, and Greenwich Letterpress.
Mini-buttons/badges--I collect the 1 inchers. They usually have a pin backing but sometimes a magnet backing--either type works for me if the design is to my liking. Badge Bomb has a lot of styles I like:Badge Bomb
