I'm a 28 year old college grad currently living in the Harrisburg PA area with my husband (Of 6 years on December 31, 2011!). My husband and I are Lifetime members of the Universal Gamers Guild - our motto: "Play Games, Have Fun.
~ I wear interesting clothing, often old fashioned and often hand made.
~I am fond of reading the original Emily Post etiquette books and generally agree with her. I firmly believe in calling cards and at home days.
~I work at the circulation desk of the local public library. It is the best job EVER.
~I don't like cooking, but I do like baking.
Last year, I took a break from Swapbot, but now I'm back.
My major hobby at the moment is the Harry Potter Knit and Crochet House Cup at Ravelry - tons of my time goes to crocheting!
~I collect ATC's and lapel pins.
~My favorite book genres are Romance, Fantasy and cookbooks (although I don't really like to cook, I just like to browse the recipes). I adore rewritten and fractured fairy tales (Mercedes Lackey's 500 Kingdoms series is wonderful!). I have a Kindle but still love physical books.
~My favorite colors are black and jewel tones - expecially blue and green.
~I love mythical beasties - particularly dragons. I used to work in a zoo and am rather fond of most all critters, actually.
~I love playing games - board games, card games, RPGS, video games - any kind of games!
~I am a tea snob - I love tea, but am very particular about it. My favorite brands are Stash and Twinnings. I prefer the plainer black teas, like English Breakfast, and spiced teas. I also like herbal teas. I also love tea baked goods: scones, biscuits, buns and desserts - tea time is the only time I cook for.
Since I signed up for an apron swap - I should probably put sizing information here. I'm probably a small - waist measures 28", bust 32".
There's not a lot that I don't like and most of the stuff I'm not fond of I can give to people around me who do like it (IE: I don't drink coffee but Hubby does).
But there are a couple of real dislikes: I don't do artificial sweeteners. No "sugar-free" anything. I can't even give it away.
In Teas, I don't like Lipton brand or Bigelow brand. I do not like roobios tea. Most anything else, I'll at least try. I'm not fond of most flavored black teas but if you think it's really good, I'll try it.
I'm highly allergic to cigarette smoke. So, if you are or live with a smoker, drop me a note ahead of time.
Please don't send paper ephemera or sequins as extras. I don't use them. They just clutter up my house. I won't give you a heart for them.
I'm collecting 3.5 inch cotton fabric squares for a patchwork skirt and baby color book. I'd love one from you!
Games - board games, card games, dice games.
I have a DSI and a DS Lite which love hand crafted accessories or used games. We also have a Wii and a PS2.
Tea icons - I'm particularly hunting for a tea cup or teapot stencil. Tea themed stamps are cool too.
Tea cups - with saucers. Not mugs (I have enough mugs to overflow my cupboards).
Steampunk decor, accessories or clothing
I LOVE hand drawn Atc's. I don't make judgements on drawing skill so if you want to try out mini-sized drawing or painting, I'm the one to send it to!
I'd love some self adhesive return address labels. I'm always running out.
I have a small apartment mailbox and my mail carrier loves to stuff things into it. So if your package is at all fragile, please pack it really well.
Re: hearts and ratings. I'm liable to give you a heart if I think you read my profile. I'm fairly liberal with them. I never rate a one without first attempting to contact the sender.

Hoorah, so glad you like it =D
Thank you for the tea and recipe. I am having a cuppa right now but will have to wait to make the cake until the weekend...I will let you know how it turned out.
Thank you so much for your note and the tea. I used to love Mercedes Lackey, I'll look for her new book. Letterboxing is definitely on my list, maybe the website you suggested will help me choose an easy first attempt. Happy 2011!
