Sometimes when we step out in faith we take our eyes off God. Be encouraged that He will be there to pick you up.
Matthew 14:29-32
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked upon the water to go to Jesus. But seeing that the wind was strong, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him, O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
I love this verse as a great reminder that God has already won every battle I face. He has guaranteed the victory already; I just need to live in His truth.
May the God of Hope, fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may be abound in hope.
Romans 15 v13
When I read this verse, I thought knowing God, brings Joy in my heart, I read alot of verses with the word joy in the Old and New Testaments, with blessings ,Jennifer.
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3 KJV
It is easy to have joy when all is right in our little part of the world. Like Job, David, Shadrach and many other Bible Greats we can find joy when only God is right in our world.
Faith is a belief and trust in God. It is knowing that God will stand by you when you trust in Him.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Ever since the day that I was saved, Christ lives in me. That day was very significant in my life and my life has been forever changed. I live every day believing in God in faith.
