These a few of the verses I find encouraging.  That proverbs one was my mantra when I stepped out on faith to leave my job and go into a ministry training program back in 2007
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Isaiah 41:10
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Share an Encouraging verse

Give thanks to the LORD for he is good, his love endures forever.

     I Chronicles 16v34

I love this verse it has helped me in many ways, knowing that God is there for me. To have God in my life is wonderful and that he loves us.

Bible Study Group: Share an Encouraging Verse

Isaiah 40:31 has been one of my favorite verse of encouragement from the Bible. I've had to wait on many things from the Lord and hope that He will bless me with those things I want (and if not, he has something better in mind). This verse reminds me that if I wait (or hope -- as different versions read differently) upon the Lord, I will be strengthened.

Didn't mean to mislead, I misplaced my stamps so I mailed the postcard today :)
