I am Malaysian and also part Irish, English and Indonesian. Officially I'm a graphic artist and designer, and I'm also an aspiring children's book illustrator. I love working on editorial illustration commissions. I love working with my hands and I love dolls and miniatures.

Sculpturing, my favorite form if illustration is dimensional illustration. I love naive art. Doll making and doll dressmaking. Dollhouses and miniatures. Pottery. Murals. Gift Wrapping. Making wedding favors. Model making. I like all sorts of crafts. I like vintage ads and vintage looking things but don't ask me to make anything in that style...I'm hopeless. I like cutesie things but no Hello Kitty or Pooh please

Lifehouse, classical (bach is my fav) and Metallica (blame this on my husband) I love singing old fashioned nursery rhymes and old television commercial jingles.

Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, Earth's Children (Jean M. Auel) - Valley of Horses, Harry Potter (J.K.Rowling), All of R.A. Salvatore's books (Dark Elf Trilogy is my fav), Little Women (Louisa May Alcott). Each Peach Pear Plum (Janet and Allen Ahlberg). When I was a kid I practically lived on Roald Dahl and Sweet Valley Twins :D Hans Christian Andersen (I am drawn to Thumbelina...small things remember :)

I love Reading Irish Fairy Tales and my favorite is The Children of Lir (the one illustrated by Jim Fitzpatrick). I also like the illustration style of Slinky Malinki by Lynley Dodd.

My favorite local Malaysian Children's Book is Fatimah's Kampung by Iain Buchanan. I am a great supporter of the budding children's book industry in my country, please visit our society website here

Has anyone ever heard of The Tale of Georgy Grub? I have that book memorized off by heart :D I also collect books on illustration and comics.

Top Chef, House, Gilmore Girls. I don't actually watch much TV, only when my husband does. If he doesn't watch, I could probably go without TV for a long time without a bother. Not that I don't enjoy it, it's just that there are other cool stuff I can do..eg. making crafts :) Spongebob Squarepants makes me laugh!

All Period Movies, especially Little Women, Jane Eyre.. that kind of stuff. I just love the outfits and the way they talk. Love Actually is something I can watch over and over again. All Disney classics. (Little mermaid is my absolute favorite)

Woodworking, I already dabble in it a bit.. but I just don't have the tools or the space. Silk-screening, I just can't figure out how it works :p I would love to make silk-screened tee for dolls. scrapbooking - to tell you the truth, it's just waaaaay too expensive a hobby in this country. Everything in the specialty stores are imported from the US and crazy priced, but I'm slowly trying to get into it

I love dolls! I started collecting dolls when I was very young. ( I still have my first ever doll which I got when I was less than a year old) I have porcelain, vinyl and cloth dolls. I'm into Blythe dolls and I have just gotten into asian ball-jointed dolls as well. I have cabinets full of my dolls and their paraphernalia...hahaha. I also hand-make dolls for friends. My favorite part of all this....the clothes!!! I love making doll clothes.

When it comes to doll clothes, I pretty much open to any style. The only stuff I'm not a fan of are things with too much frills and bows. I like quirky clothes and period styles as well. I'm trying to build up a collection of 20's flapper fashion, just love their hats :D

I collect boardgames with my husband and we frequently have game nights with our friends. When we don't play boardgames, we are on out DnD quests. I also sculpt and I've made some of our characters with sculpey.

I love green! My favorite is turquoise green and olive. I also like blues and oranges. But not the overly bright tones. I'm a fabric hoarder. I am drawn to anything miniature (It is my weakness!). I play piano. I live by a lake. I wish I had a green thumb so my garden wouldn't look so bare. We love sitting in our garden at sunset while drinking iced tea. I love cooking and making birthday cakes. Snicker bars are my absolute favorite chocolate candy. I can eat mashed potatoes till I'm sick. I have 3 cats (Meelo, Snikers and Saffron) and a tortoise (Boo).
