I am a mother of two plus three furry kids ( 2 dogs and 1 cat). I recently opened a resale/recycled design boutique with my mother.

I love music--almost anything. I am not really into country, but there are exceptions. I do like the older country, like Johnny Cash. I like listening to new music, broadening my musical taste. I subscribe to the NPR emails All Songs Considered--each day there is new music to explore.

My favorite author for a warm, cosy read is Alice Hoffman. I enjoy English mysteries, current affairs, biographies, best-selling fiction, etc. I joined Good Reads and I highly recommend it. There are so many readers and ideas for new books to read!

My all-time favorite is Gilmore Girls, even though the show has ended. I am collecting the seasons--only season 1 so far! I like PBS, Food Network, Top Designer (Bravo), Grey's Anatomy. I don't often watch television--only at night as I'm trying to doze off after I've finished reading!

I do love the movies! I rent from Netflix, which is so fun to search through and find movies from independent filmmakers, foreign films, and classic films. I love movies with Audrey Hepburn, Carey Grant, Sophia Loren, etc. I love the atmosphere, fashion, interior designs, etc. So inspiring!

I am a mixed media artist. I really do love all forms--paper, textiles, found objects, paint, glue, pencils, markers..... A day playing with all of these is my idea of joy. I love using vintage items to create something unique and beautiful.

I enjoy walking the dogs with my kids, taking trips to San Diego and playing by the ocean, reading magazines (I am a magazine junkie!), and for now the shop has been keeping me really busy!
