About Me

I enjoy crafting, gardening, and nature. I love country life...farm life. My current craft interests are recycling crafts, all sorts of paper crafting....including scrapbooking, cardmaking, decopauge, collage. Rubber stamping is my current passion. My style I am trying to develope is a sort of artsy, vintage, olde fashioned feel. I also do my variation on an Asian theme from time to time.

Favorite Books

Craft books. Books on polymer clay, papercrafting, and scrapbook techniques and layouts are my main interest. All my reading lately is how-to and idea books.

Favorite Music

I am wanting to expand my musical horizons. Celtic, bluegrass, and pretty much any instrumental music is of interest to me.

Organizing

One of my main personal goals is organizing my craft room. I love to hear about other folks unique, clever, and thrifty strategies for organizing their tools and supplies. I really enjoy giving new life to furniture pieces and odds and ends that I already have or that I can acquire inexpensively at thrift stores or yard sales.

Things I Collect

embossing powders, ink pads, paper punches, unique buttons, rick rack, brass stencils, Somerset publications, rubber stamps (artsy, asian, or nature), stationery, note cards, bottlecaps, pearl ex, sizzix dies, cuttle bug dies, flexi molds for polymer clay, lace, trims, alphabet stickers, floral stickers, vintage-feel stickers, tobacco cards, business card wallets,purses, or cases, rhinestones, re-inkers, old calendars that I can salvage images out of My current mission is to find rubber stamps with owl or gargoyles. I am also looking for office stamps...generic ones like "fragile" or "sign here" and more unique ones like "from the desk of..." or company letterheads or logos.

Private Swaps

I would very much enjoy doing a private swap. I would like to swap one of my handmade items for one of yours...preferrably a different genre. Things I could make for you would be stationery, handmade cards, scrapbook pages, personalized scrapbook, or card candy (handmade themed embelishments you can use to make cards or decorate a scrapbook page).

Swap Philosophy

I swap because I enjoy making special packages for someone. To brighten someone's day gives me alot of pleasure. If you do not recieve a swap from me, contact me as soon as you think there is a problem. I am very prompt about getting out my swaps, and am very picky about which swaps I join so I don't get over-committed. Swapping is friendly! Swapping is fun! Share the joy!

Response: So glad u loved your ATC. I am an embossing nut! :) You can peel that napkin apart and use the layers for decoupage. U can decoupage a layer to some paper to make a cool new background for your next atc. Enjoy!
