Update: Slowly rejoining swaps and in need of address labels.
I'd like to decorate my living room with bears and moose and pine trees in a rustic cabin style. Our trip to Yellowstone was so nice and I'd like to have that feeling in our home.
Our bedroom is not decorated very well at all. But I'd like it to match this blue quilt I made for us when we were first married.
** Wedding Date: August 16, 2008!!! ** Projected Gifting Date--December 24th, 2008 (I'm slow, you know.)
Thank you to everyone for the gifts of quality 100% cotton fabric for my brother's wedding quilt. I need to sew up what I have before I know if I need any more fabric. I am so grateful for your help with this quilt!
I love the beautiful leaves of fall. Trees make my spirit soar. In a tree I see: growth, strength, God's handiwork, and all of creation comes alive again when I stop to think of the beauty of a tree.
Some handmade items I'd love to get:
a nice set of handmade note cards
an outdoorsy scrapbook for my camping pictures of yellowstone
long necklaces
I'm beginning to collect items for stocking stuffers for my family. We have 10 4' stockings to fill, so it is always a fun time! This year, I am thinking small, practical gifts like...
All of us are "grown-up" now and we have a graduation and a wedding in the family this summer. Anyway...
Miniature books--charm sized for jewelry
Christian Music
As much as I love DOVE Chocolate, you'd better not send any until the fall. It is HOT here. And good chocolate melts so fast. How about instead, you could send me those little chocolate mints. They come in a tin and they are practically no calories. Or chewing gum. But not chocolate chewing gum or cinnamon. I like sweet mint or spearmint or juicy fruit.
Herbal Tea (Especially orange, licorice, ruby red, and blueberry)
Books (see list below)
Did I mention chocolate brownies with no nuts?
I enjoyed our trip to Yellowstone so much that I'd like some wall hangings that are moose or bear or tree related. Not shelf knick knacks though, we don't have any shelf space because of all my books!
DON'T SEND
Lotions, perfumes, soaps. I am allergic.
Nuts
Coffee
-Cinnamon gum (I think I'm allergic to Big Red. My throat gets all bothered and swollen.)
Green Tea (I love other teas, but I can't stomach this kind, no matter how healthy it is.)
Polyester or other synthetic fabrics. I only use 100% cotton for my quilting projects.
Plastic beads
Skulls, goth, paganism, anything 'dark'.
Used books are great! Most of my books are used from www.BookMooch.com
