Currently I'm waiting for my final grade for an exam paper. When I get it I'll be finally done with studying. I live in Bochum which is in a region called Ruhrgebiet in the very West of Germany. All those wonderful craft blogs that can be found on the net inspired me to start crafting again. I started crochting a ripple blanket, scarf knitting, thinking about making my first quilt.

I did a 3 year vocational trainig in making jewelry in a nice little goldsmith shop/workshop. I have a dog, he is an 8 year old pointer. I love to listen to audio books in any shape or form but mostly mystery stories ( Val McDermid, Hakan Nesser, Minette Walters ...)

I like to read, bake and cook, go to museums. I also like to travel and visit interesting cities. I just went to Brussels a few weeks ago. That was a lovely trip.

Stuff I like includes lots of colorful buttons, fabric, interesting pens, writing pads, small notebooks, new cooking recipes, magnets, yarn or patterns for new crocheting projects. Also I alway like to try out new recipes sweet and savory alike.

Bags, purses and pouches are favorite items of mine. I not obsessed with shoes like many women are but I can never have enough bags.

I also enjoy magnets. To pin stuff to my message board.

My favorite colors are greens from lime to dark, dark chocolate brown, teal and purple.

Mostly I listen to the radio but recently I bought a cd from Carla Bruni. I really like her voice so it doesn't matter too much that the lyrics are French and I don't understand a thing.

There are lots of movies I like. Fargo, A life less ordinary, French Kiss, Little Miss Sunshine... I just saw Stranger than fiction and thought that that was really sweet

I watch way too much tv so this list could be endless. I watch Bones, House M.D., Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Brothers& Sisters, ...

I just started crocheting and sewing but I have been drawing and painting for quite a while. Over all I just like to make stuff - from paper maché to necklaces ... I really want to try to dye wool sometime.
