30-ish with an obsession for tigers (and yes, I have a tendency towards crankiness - somehow I manage to have friends anyway). Household consists of me, my spouse, and a multiple of cats. Stuck in California, and we both hate it (lived here most our lives) with the exception of things like Disneyland (I am both a Disney fiend and a fan of extinct attractions) - want to move back to where I belong (Montana).
I DESPERATELY MISS SNOW, and love winter/snowflake themes (well, any nature theme, really, but especially things involving snow). My favorite colors are the 'cool' tones, especially blues and greens (and gray, though I suppose that's not really a 'color' per se). I love filling up blank books with random words and sketches (too bad I'm lousy at drawing). I'm addicted to bowling, though I'll admit that I'm pretty bad at it. :) I also love doing silly things, like coloring with crayons. I'm very proud of the military background in my family (father is ex-Navy and husband is ex-Marine, you can imagine the friendly rivalry between them). I LOVE to fly, but will never be able to afford my license. I've written a couple books that will probably never get published by anyone but myself, and write an online fiction series. I have an impromptu collection of stuffed tigers, and lately I've been looking for fat quarters with cute designs (not florals - I have enough of those). I read historical (hysterical) romances, books that have nothing to do with romance, and everything in between - bookworm! Used books are the best, they have more personality to them. My favorite book is Tam Lin by Pamela Dean, of which I have had to buy 3 copies - I read the others so much that they literally wore out. I was reading (and re-reading, almost daily) Watership Down by the time I was 8.
Honestly, I've never been that good with listing all my likes/dislikes/favorites in a way that makes sense - if you're stuck, you might check out my Wordpress and see if that helps...or, of course, message me.
Not rap. Mostly 80's stuff (Mmmm, Oingo Boingo), some country, some modern stuff. I listen to a wide range of things.
Star Wars (original trilogy), Lost Boys, Goonies, Tron, pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki...
Numb3rs, CSI:Miami, any of the incarnations of Star Trek , Night Court, Eureka, Mythbusters, American Chopper...I'm sure there are others. I come from a family of anime fiends, too, so I'm quite fond of a lot of anime.
Small knitting projects (not enough patience for large ones), small sewing projects (I LOVE sewing bags and purses for some reason - probably because it was the cheapest way for me to have too many purses - I LOVE BAGS), some counted x-stitch, candle making, some papercraft (I LOVE making paper myself, it turns out)...honestly, just about any craft to a small degree. I like smaller, simpler projects. Big into photography, if you consider it a 'craft'. I also do a lot of cooking, and I love making my own candy though I don't get much time lately.
