I am a 23 year old living in Wisconsin along Lake Michigan. I am a newlywed married to my high-school sweetheart, and we enjoying our time together post-marriage but pre-children!! I am very family oriented; my sister who is 8 years older than me is my best friend, and I adore my parents ~ happily married for 28 years! I am also the proud aunt and godmother of an adorable five year old niece!! I believe in God, I believe in love, I believe in second chances, I believe in no regrets.

I recently quit my full-time job to go back to school ~ a scary but well worthwhile decision!! I am going for a degree in nutrition with a minor in English.

Lately, I've been really getting into cooking and baking. I would absolutely consider myself a foodie!! I love seeking out local foods, and I also love the crazy gourmet stuff, at least to try it once :o) I follow cooking blogs, and I get a daily foodie email. I wish I had more time (and $$!) to follow this passion of mine.

I LOVE chocolate!! I really like to try different quality dark chocolates. I like to try regional snacks. I DO NOT like cinnamon, tea, plain coffee, nuts in my chocolate, licorice.

I am very much a girly girl ~ I love to pamper!! I wear Body by Victoria perfume, and I'm always looking for the tiny trial size ones to keep in my purse. I do bubble baths, and I love face masks, anything spa like! I also love eye makeup & nail polish, especially OPI. The one thing I do not use is shower gel/body wash. I burn lots of candles, and I like ones with clean fresh scents; no woodsy scents, no vanilla, nothing too sickly sweet.

I love to wear jewelry and accessories ~ I like to try new trends. Right now I'm really into the neck scarves, any color, or the smaller scarves I can tie in my hair. I prefer silver jewelry over gold. I'm not really into the hand-made clay painted earrings, but I really like the hand-made beaded ones!

I don't do a lot of collecting ~ I have no use for pointless knick-knacks. I LOVE postcards though!! For postcard swaps, I always prefer mine to go directly through the mail, no envelope!

I love, love, love the color pink!! I also like brown and gray, especially when mixed with pink!! Really, I do appreciate the entire color spectrum though.

I have a coffee themed kitchen, and I'm especially always looking for coffee themed magnets ~ tricky to find!!

I AM NOT into "cutesy" things: socks, cartoony stuff, Hello Kitty, animal themed items, disney, any of that. Also DON'T do halloween, not at all, I can't stress this enough!!

I DO NOT use eyelets or fabric pieces in my crafting. I love fun brads, ribbons and fibers, patterned papers, colored cardstock, neat envelopes, paper punches, sayings, rub-ons. I can ALWAYS use a bottle of Sobo Craft Glue!!

I also do not care for ATC's.....I guess I just don't really understand them. If you do them, great, but they are not for me!
