Big APOLOGIES to swap partners that have not yet received from me. Due to the big blizzard that inconveniently dropped by we have been home bound [and F-R-R-R-E-E-Z-I-N-G!!!] with 3+ feet of snow. I am working diligently to get everything done and shipped, but I ask [I beg] of you to please be patient and not immediately jump to the conclusion that you have been flaked on ... I'm trying to get life back to it's normal programming but would really appreciate your patience & understanding as this [blizzard] is above my pay grade ... :)

It has come to my attention during my very short time here that there are some REALLY petty & childish individuals on this site! Which is really unfortunate since we {most I would think} are GROWN ASS WOMEN (no offense to any of the opposite sex, but this would apply to you as well)!

So a swap is mailed a few days AFTER the swap deadline --- {Ummm, I do have a LIFE! That life includes caring for my family, specifically my son that has Down Syndrome} --- YOU being the supremely almighty and grand person that you are feels you should rate a person negatively because they aren't as PERFECT as you by not sending BEFORE or on the EXACT deadline date!!!

Gimme an effin' break! Really? SERIOUSLY? You are SOOOO perfect? Ugh! Fortunately, I personally haven't had an experience with a person like this BUT others that have messaged me to inform me that they will be late sending seem almost fearful of my response which is sad --- we have LIVES ... JOBS ... RESPONSIBILITIES! And things do happen.

So before YOU {Ms or Mr Almighty} decide to rate your fellow swappers a 1 or 3 because they send a bit late --- take a look in the mirror and ask yourself "why am I such an ASS?"

With that said ... if you are going to be late sending, just shoot me a note ... and follow up when you send. Is that so hard?

Thanks for stopping by to get to know me a bit better. I'm still a NEWBIE but looking forward to meeting other like minded individuals and perhaps along the way make a few great FRIENDS.

Uhhh, let's see ... {I really hate talking about myself superfluously} ... Currently, I am a SAHM. It is a job that I enjoy and feel very blessed to be able to do, but believe me it is NOT a day of bon-bons and soap operas -- though I've had my fill of "Yo Gabba Gabba!" and other assorted tortures from Nick Jr., it would be terrific to find a legit work from home position that does NOT require some astronomical initial investment!

Otherwise I am a simple {yet complex} cookie! Simple pleasures such as enjoying my coffee in bed with a book or magazine (or laptop) on a lazy day -- riding along a scenic road singing LOUDLY (and dancing!) -- A really GOOD Margarita -- Intelligent conversations -- Opening the mailbox to something OTHER than BILLS! {Yay, Swap-bot -- glad I found ya!}

I am a self-professed makeup snob, meaning I only purchase the high end stuff like it was crack! -- that and art supplies. Where a lot of women would pay an arm & leg for red soled shoes, I'm at the cosmetics counter (and Dick Blick). I'm a CG {curly girl} and ADORE my curls even though they have a mind all their own!

I'm a BIG CITY girl -- love the heartbeat of the city! The sights, the sounds even the smells {yuck, right?} Though born & raised in Chicago, moved to the Empire State (NY) when I was 22 --- NYC is and will always be HOME!

Most paper crafts ... It started with Scrapbooking around the time my daughter was born and have recently discovered (and fell in LOVE with!) ART JOURNALING which just seemed like a natural progression. Scrapbooking seemed to have a lot of "rigidity" which was a bit discouraging but my journal has a "no rules" feel to it and I so love that.

I also like card making ... even if I purchase a store bought card it's one that I can add my own touch to, especially the ENVELOPE!

ZENTANGLES/ INCHIES/ ATC's are new to me and I'm excited to explore them further.
