About Me

I have been married for 950 years now. Okay more like 11 but ask hubby and he will tell you 950. I am the mommy to three fur-babies that I spoil. I am currently living in Georgia helping my mother out. I follow the Wiccan path and I am constanly learning new things about myself and this world we live in.

I love getting ANYTHING in the mail (except bills) and enjoy sending out as well. I have pen pals that I have been writing to for 10 years or so from all over the world. I am looking forward to meeting new people!

Favorite Music

I can listen to anything except rap music. For some reason I don't get it. I tried, really I did...just don't get it.

My favorite genres are Southern Rock and old country.

My all time favorite is Meatloaf. I believe this man is a genius who came along about a decade before the world was ready for him.

And I have a reals soft spot for Lynyrd Skynyrd. I don't care what is going on, thier songs always put me in a good mood.

Favorite Books

I love to read. I read all types of books. I get addicted to series books. I like following the characters on new adventures.

My favorite reads are usually a mystery or some fantasy.

Some I can think of off the top of my head... Dean Koontz, John Saul, Mary Higgins Clark, Anne Rice, Janet Evanovich....

Interests and Hobbies

Photography, Reading, Sewing, Notecards, Scrapbooks, Painting, Camping, Nascar,

and on, and on, and on....

I really like..

The color green, Stationary, cards, postcards, Anything with crabs on it, Sunflowers, pens, any color any type, dragons, fairies, fantasy type images, trees ( I am a tree hugger), owls, mushrooms, mulberry, postcards, stationary the smell of sandlewood, mulberry, vintage items love the 70's!

I really don't like....

tea, flavored coffees, really scented items (no sprays on the outside of the envelopes - "sealed" scents are okay, hubby has allergies), perfume, makeup,

Comment: UPDATE~5/19 Received today~ Swap was due to be mailed out May 2nd, you marked it mailed on May 7th and it is postmarked May 16th. BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!! I could have been understanding about your run in with bad luck if you had let me know what was going on... but instead you sent it 9 days after you clicked sent and that is a huge problem for me. Not to mention that this was a CRAFT destash and the only things that were craft related were a spool of ribbon, a few (8) pcs of scrap papers, and a tiny baggie with about 15-20 brads... everything else was not craft related so I was a bit disappointed in the package I received. Although I feel bad for rating down for a swap that I have received I feel that I needed to rate honestly.~~~~~~ ADDING: You had "3" 1s and were suspended. In fact until I removed my 1 you were still suspended today. I did notice that you did not read the last message I sent to you on the 16th since you were last online on the 15th... so I am a bit confused why you are calling this package a resend??? You didn't mail on time... when you marked this swap sent it was 5 days late at that point. (MAY 7) The swap was not mailed until the 16th.. NOT A RESEND, as you had not gotten my message asking about the swap yet but the ORIGINAL swap...I can understand an emergency coming up but we're talking about 10 days from the time the swap ended to mail... an additional 5 days after that when you marked sent and then an additional 9 days til it was actually mailed...roughly 24 days total...you could have sent me a message to let me know what was going on...you were online from the 2nd til the 15th and Im sorry to be so rude but I dont think your mom was in ICU since the 22nd of April...there was plenty of time to message me and tell me why it was late... I dont know who filled the envie you or your niece but it was not a resend!!! In fact the note that came along with it said you were sorry it was so late and explained you had run into some bad luck...noting mentioning a resend and I still don't get why you would "resend" a swap you had clicked sent 9 days before that...it just does not make sense................................................................................... Im glad you seem to be ok with a 3 rating when what you should do is make the swap right and resend so that it meets the requirements. Whether you feel you were justified by sending what it contained cuz you were away from a computer and could not read the requirements or not, it did not meet the requirements...and that speaks volumes as to what kind of swapper you are....one who mails weeks after a swap is due (previous 3s) and doesn't give a hoot about low ratings and it shows by your lack of responsibility in taking care of your 1........................................................................ Original post 5/18~Have not received.... has not responded to my messages...will change rating when and IF it is received but judging from the other 1s you have I have my doubts
Response: I have one "1". but either way, I am sorry I did not respond the day you sent your message, I was in ICU with my mother. I had my niece put the resend package together and I was not near the computer to look at the exact requirement. She told me she sent stickers, notecards, postcards, ribbon, brads and such. I did not inspect the package before it was sent. I am glad you got my resend even though you did not care for what was sent. I am fine with the 3 rating. You felt that was fair and that is what ratings are all about. 5/20 - No my mother was not in ICU since the 22nd. but she was in the hospital. ICU came later. Either way, you have said your piece, I have said mine. You don't think I am a good swapper, fine, your opinion. I am not going to battle this for you. Rate me whatever you feel is fair. And I will be fine with that.

It may be cold where you are but we have been dumped on with 8 inches of snow and it's only two degrees. We are staying in and staying warm today making a big pot of homemade soup.Happy New Year.
