I am a retired wife and mother of 4 sons who are all married and have given us 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Our house is ruled by our 13 year old black Persian and 3 year old Schnauzer.I would like to learn first hand why others enjoy these groups so much and the new friendships that are formed along the way. My husband and I live in Nebraska and enjoy small town life. I try to stay open minded and up to date with my life. I had a life altering experience four years ago, so have a completely different outlook on the how and why of things.

I love the music from the 50's and 60's, also easy listening and light classical.

Not much of a reader, but I do like fast moving mysteries such as those by Michael Palmer and James Patterson.

I'm a real fan of "Big Bang Theory"!! Absolutely love it. Also like NCIS and the Mentalist. I enjoy mostly half hour comedies. Can't sit through anything longer, as I'd rather be quilting or crafting.

I enjoy quilting and belong to two different quilt clubs and work on quilt projects at the church we attend. Sewing of any kind holds my interest. Also enjoy knitting and crochet. I need my fix of holding a needle in my hand almost daily or I go through withdrawal!

Colors I like are just about anything. Favorites are any purples and pinks I'm not real fond of orange.really depends on the shade. I collect anything "kitty", angels and turtles.
