Comment: Love the unicorn card. It's funny that I talk about a unicorn in a story I have to tell tonight for a class. I use it to describe something you want that may not even exist. Thank you for the warm holiday wishes. Happy Holidays
Comment: GREAT Time Warp - The Dragons Are Coming ATC! I love the subject and your creativity.
Response: Thank you! I occasionally buy used/damaged books from the Goodwill and cut out the cool pics to use for ATCs. That book was how To Train Your Dragon. I'd been dying to use some of the images and this was my first opportunity. I am glad you like it
Comment: Thanks for this dragon card, I absolutely love it! I'm sorry your carpal tunnel is acting up - I have the same thing and it can just be killer sometimes! I hope you're feeling better, and again, thanks so much!
Response: I liked that one a lot too. I am glad you like it!
Comment: Thank you Christina for joining my swap and for the beautiful picture of Christ on my profile. I too love to see the love and compassion in the Savior's face - it reminds me of the love that he has for each and every one of us! ♥️
Comment: your cat's letter made me smile so hard. Is your second's cat really Smeagol? Would December be alright if Biscuit writes her back?
Response: 😁😁😁 Yes our second day was an injured stray we took in and she was NOT pretty lol I named her Smeagol. I like to call her Wall which is the Gaelic word for Life. I am sure December would love to hear from Biscuit! By the way December is a HIM.
Comment: Wow! Just wow! These cards are sooooo pretty and do make a gorgeous "be continued" spread. Thank you so much for all the time and love put into them! :-D I will definitely use the anime washi on a fun project!
Response: I had so much fun making those. I'm so glad you like them!
Comment: Hi, what an awesome raccoon ATC!. I love all of the elements, especially the painted tree background and all the button and bead embellishments. The sky is a perfect complement to the tree and autumn leaves. You're also so thoughtful for sending along used postage stamps, too. Enjoy the season!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I loved making that one!
Comment: That is funny! You read it as I hate all animals! Well, 'tis the season to be spooked! LOL Thank you for the fun black and red ATC. So much to see! Thank you also for the nice note. I'm starting "dry needling" tomorrow for my ankle.. we will see how that goes. As for the discs in my neck and back.. I've given up. Good luck with your upcoming physical therapy. I hope it helps!
Response: I'm glad you like it!! And yeah, I need GLASSES lol!!! Happy Fall!!
Comment: Thanks so much! That CC album is one I don't have in my record collection, but I would like to have it! Sullivan Street is one of my favorite songs of all time!
Response: Wow, I am so glad you are a fan! I had no idea, just made a blue ATC and Counting Crows lyrics just LEAPT into it 😂😂😂. So glad you can appreciate it! I freaking LOVE Sullivan Street, and p, well ALL THE SONGS.Saw them in concert for the 25th year your 2 months ago 😀😀😀
Comment: I received your envie today! Thank you sooo much! Everything is amazing! 😍 I love the owl ATC and the handmade extra card is awesome too! Thank you again! The heart is more than deserved! ☺
Also, it was the first mail I've got since joining swap-bot. And as I'm still a beginner with ATCs would you maybe be willing to tell me which techniques you used making it?
Response: I am so happy you loved it! For the Owl ATC background I used various washi tape and masking tape torn into strips and haphazardly layer across, then painted with acrylic Dollar Store paints with cotton balls I think BC I don't have any sponges or fancy paints..a little fine sparkly glitter dust. For the owl I drew it and cut out, painted it and glittered. Used back ground scraps to cut out eyes and wings. I forget what else I did, but remember to paint or marker the edges of the card and to add detail. Hope this helps...he was a cutie!!!
Comment: Thanks so much for the washi and stickers! I pray your home and your loved ones are fine!!! Let me know!! I know it didn't hit like the media made it seem, but I've seen tons of flooding and I know how scary that is. I sat through Harvey last year! We didn't intake any water in our home, but came scarily close!
Response: Thank you...I comment on all my ratings and somehow missed this one 😕
Yes we came through ok. a friend of mine lost her entire home. Can you believe parts of ND and SC are STILL flooded? 😢
Thank you for the rating and thank you for asking about us.
Comment: Ahhhh! Thank you so much for an awesome swap! I think the PO was just jealous and kept the first one to themselves. I'm so excited about these ATC supplies as I just started making them. Don't blow away in the hurricane. My DD is actually here from SC bc of it. Cheers!
Response: Oh I'm so glad you FINALLY received it!! Happy that you like it :)
Comment: Thank you so very much for your wonderful letter - it really made my day and I really appreciate all the love and time you put into it! I will be in touch very soon! PS I hope you are safe and sending big hugs to all in NC
Response: Thank you...we are all anxious here waiting for this storm!!
Comment: Wow!! Your handmade envelopes are beautiful and don't think for a minute they aren't perfect, because they are! The artistic details you added are so impressive to me. I don't think I can pick a favorite. I keep changing my mind. Great work! Oh, and you have beautiful handwriting too. ❤❤❤
