Description:
This is going to be a monthly swap with a different theme each month. Here is a list of the themes that will be featured thoughout 2009. Oct - polka dots Nov - fall/autumn prints Dec - (No swap.....Have a Merry Christmas!!!) For this swap you will send 1/2 yard of fabric to 1 partner. Each person needs to enter their preference whether they would rather receive 2 fqs or 1 continuous 1/2 yd of fabric. This month's theme is novelty prints . The fabric you send must have a novelty print on it as the main center of attraction. The fabric you send could have something like dogs, cats, fish, bugs, children's prints (if your partner would like to receive children's fabric), lighthouses, wildlife, angels, etc. You also will include one spool of coordinating thread. One more thing....PLEASE....PLEASE....PLEASE....include a note in the package that has the swap name and your swap-bot uesername so that your partner will know without a doubt what swap this package is for and who it's from. I have received entirely too many packages that didn't have the swap or tag name and did not have the username of the person that sent to me. I have had to search several times to find out who to thank for the goodies. This is very frustrating to say the least!!! To recap.....you will be sending: 1/2 yard of fabric (novelty print) - either 2 different fqs or 1 continuous 1/2 yard depending on which your partner prefers (100% cotton only!!!) 1 spool of coordinating thread This swap is open to all NFS members as long as you have no recent unexplained 1 or 3 ratings within the past 6 months.

are novelty prints like the fabric with little dogs or stars or things like that? I love those!

@renees yes. novely print is someont that has cute little pictures on it. for this month it's flowers. something that has a nice smallish flower print

There's big contradiction in the description - title says novelty prints, then in the body is says the theme is flowers and the very next sentence contradicts that!! Please clarify - is it floral print or novelty print? A novelty floral print probably exists, but it's a very limited item... From the description above:

"This month's theme is flowers" -

OK, but this next sentence specifically lists non-floral fabrics:

"The fabric you send must have a novelty print on it as the main center of attraction. The fabric you send could have something like dogs, cats, fish, bugs, children's prints (if your partner would like to receive children's fabric), lighthouses, wildlife, angels, etc"

HEY YA'LL....I GOOFED!!! I had FLOWERS listed in the description....but that's not right!!! Sorry about that!!!

This month's theme are not flowers, it is novelty prints.

I had copied and pasted the swap info from R2 which was flowers, but failed to change all of the pertinent information. Sorry for the confusion:(
