Firstly let me confess..I AM A YARNAHOLIC, very rapidly becoming a Fabric-a-holic too.

I only have computer access during the working week - monday to friday (Aust times).

I live in Melbourne, Australia. Now single (for many years, since '84) by choice. I have 2 Adult sons & 2 Grandchildren. 1 girl, 11 years & 1 boy 6 yrs.

I love all types of pens, notepads, sticky notepads.

Do not like long socks. Like ankle socks, any colour, bright or a combo..actually the brighter the better. Just think of Yeti, big foot.

Please no herbal teas, incense or seeds. These items will be seized by customs. Another thing that will not get through is dried bananas.

Favourite animal ...cats, especially tigers..Although I really do like any animal as long as it doesn't bite me! I do have a real fear/phobia of the eight legged variety..SPIDERS! eeeeeew, yuk, scary monsters they are. If, ever you look at my Flickr pics...beware. Would you believe there is a picture of a huge spider on there? Makes me shiver just thinking about how I got close enough to take that picture.

I am very S-A-B-L-E by 2 or 3 times. = Stash Amassed Beyond Life Expectency.

Trying to destash...it's slow going because I hate parting with my yarn.

too hard to pinpoint one or two, but - country music would have to be at the top (Alan Jackson, my all time fave). Now there\\'s Elvis, Julio Iglesias and his talented son, Enrico. But not rap & hip hop???. and of course there's QUEEN. 60's & 70's..Fave radio station is GOLD 104 - "You know, the oldies type of stuff".

the Bold & the Beautiful. Extreme makeover..current affairs like Today Tonight. All Saints.(aussie drama). Border Security. Biggest Loser. Amazing race. C.S.I., Law & Order, The COP shows - like Police files unlocked. & of course "Kath & Kim" (big Aussie crack-up comedy).All Saints. Next Top Model is good for a laugh too - (meeow-claws out now).

Nbr 1 favourite craft is Dotee making...can't stop, & can't stop to do some crochet, although I have tried to make some amigurumi recently. One piece gets done, then, I spy a piece of fabric and think, ooh - that'd make a nice dotee so that ends the short relationship with the crochet hook.

Crochet - specialise in crochet toys.

love the colours, purple,pink,blue,black,green,orange,yellow,aqua,turquoise,.even starting to like shades of brown (must be old age - lol). any colour really, but not keen on tye dyed stuff or batik type fabrics.

As with most people, I prefer 100% cotton, but don't mind other types too.

Once tried punch needle embroidery but failed miserably and gave that a miss.

Have a growing liking for buttons...any sort, but I do love the small ones that can sometimes be used on dotees.

I have gone right off knitting, no motivation.

I used to do cross stitch, but find that too hard on the eyes. Favourite yarns to make toys with would be cotton/acrylic mix, like "tlc cotton plus" & "cotone" which is acrylic/cotton mix.

I have totally stopped doing any type of papercrafts, there's just not enough time, especially since I started making dotee dolls. Over the next few months, I will be de-stashing all my papercraft stuff.

Favourite sweets have become...Tootsie rolls,chocolate covered mini tootsie rolls, saltwater taffy, reeses pieces, reeses peanut butter cups & butterfingers also..thanks to another Aussi swapbotter, I now love Peanut butter M&M's...(wanna see how quick I can scoff a packet?..lol).
foodstuffs like different Chilli mixes...love spicy foods.

Just a little note to say, Please No Yarn. I have far too much. Only very recently, I gave away another 12 large kitchen tidy bags full. It must've weighed a lot (each bag about 10pounds) and didn't all fit in the boot of my car. Hardly made a dent in the "yarn room".

As I have now stopped doing 'papercrafts', If possible, please dont send papercraft items, they will be re-gifted and i'm not keen on doing that to a swapper who has taken time & effort into putting together a nice package for me. Hope you understand.
