Wow, I do not know what to say as an introduction to myself. I have been married for 25 years to an incredible man, together we have 5 children. We live and farm in rural Alberta - the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
We recently acquired a donkey and I have fallen in love with this archaic animal. His purpose is to guard our sheep from wolves, coyotes and cougars.....but he's afraid of the sheep!
The sheep are another love of mine. Their gentle, accepting spirit is a testimony to me and doing chores around them always settles my soul. In regards to swapping....I will appreciate anything to do with donkeys or sheep. I would love to hear of your experience of either and enjoy these animals with you.
I am a dog trainer and a supervisor for volunteers who puppy raise guide dogs. I am also a gardener, encourager, camper, listener, cross country skier, hiker, family meal planner, scrape and wound fixer and bed time book reader. I am a Christian.
I love tea and drink it every day. Before I joined Swap-bot I only every drank Red Rose Orange Pekoe Tea. A few partners generously shared their tea with me and now I am hooked on experimenting with tea.
I have found out that I don't like white tea or fruity flavoured teas (except lemon). I also did not care for Chia tea.
I've discovered I like Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Green tea, Chamomile, and Mint teas. However my tea journey has just started so if there is a variety you think I would like - I am happy to try it.
I don't craft but I am fascinated by the creativity of others. Send me your art - I would love to see it!
I'm including a wishlist because I appreciate a detailed list on other peoples sites. Please know, however, I am easy to please and generally enjoy all mail.
Things I would love to receive/wish list:
Flat Items: • Canadian postage, any denomination • Letter or note included in swap • Encouragement • Any Maggie Holmes paper or die cuts • Origami • Car air fresheners • Gift card to the dollar tree. Any amount.
I really have enough note cards, postcards, journals, notepads and stickers so please do not send as extras.
Craft Items:
• Cutting dies • Ink pads • Blending tools • Cardstock • Lace and ribbon • Sequence • Hot glue sticks • Double sided tape • Maggie Holmes • Glitter paper • Gold foil paper * Charms * Enamel dots * Bling
Personal items:
• Socks♥ • Gloves • Scarfs • Toque • Face masks. • Lounge wear • Bath and Body works • Lush
Kitchen Items:
• Measuring spoons • Paper to bake Mini loaves in. • Tea Towels • Dish clothes • Scented Candles • Cutting boards • Country themed • Bento Boxes * Oven Mitts
My family has the goal of filling 6 - 12 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child any donations to these boxes will be welcome.
I do not like skulls, occult, wicca, nudity or rudeness. Please no stickers - I don't use them.
One of the things I enjoy about swapping with such a variety of people is seeing the things they include in a swap. It tells me about the sender. If it is something I don't have a use for but still in good condition.....I will send it on again.
I thought I would add another section just for these swaps.
I would love craft room organization items. Any small or large containers would be helpful and used. If you have a system you love, I would love to hear about it. I have a brother scan n cut so any accessories to this machine would be so loved! I also have a big shot and would love cutting dies.
Out side/camping accessories. Our family is very busy outside so these items are always needed. Some ideas are buffs, carabinors, water purifying drinking straws, dehydrated meals, sporks, hand warmers, merino wool socks/base layers, mosquito nets basically anything that can be used hiking or rock climbing.
When we have time we also like to geocache so geocaching coins or travel bugs are always welcome.
Personal care items - anything from lush, burt's bees, dry shampoo, face masks, however, I don't use makeup.
For kitchen items, bees wax food wraps, oven mitts, tea towels, dish cloths, scented candles, coffee beans, organizational items.
If more ideas are needed, I am in need of new slippers, always appreciate new socks, I love lounge wear, use silicone chocolate molds of all sizes, use bento boxes and accessories, and I always appreciate kitchen accessories.
Thank you for reading.....

Hi Anita!! I was just going back through the letters from the year long Christmas Advent swap you and I did in 2015! That was one of my favorite swaps of all! I hope you are doing well! If you ever want to do a little swap, I'd love to!
Thank you tons and bunches
for granting a CPG December wish for me with the SUPER generous package of Matryoshka loveliness! From the outside of the package with the cool holographic Star Trek stamp (which I will save- my mom was a huge Trekkie) to each and every new layer of the sweet nesting doll goodies- the stickers, tags, stamps, tape, stationery, and especially the beautiful cross stitched card which I will probably end up framing, this package is an absolutely delightful experience. I will be enjoying these wonderful gifts for a long time, and through them you will bring many smiles to my face. Thank you so very much for this wonderful gift! :)
OMG! You spoiled me with all the OWL stuff for my CPG Dec Wishlist! I love the bookmark, the tiny erasers, and all the little notebooks/papers! Squee for happy mail! Thank you so much! ♥♥♥
