If you don't receive something from me, message me before rating. I always send out before the deadline, but my post office doesn't postmark items from the drop-box. Instead, items are postmarked in Salt Lake City. If I drop something off on Friday night, it likely won't be postmarked until Monday or Tuesday.
I never have a problem resending until you get it. The second send will always have tracking (unless it's a postcard, which my PO has informed me can't be added -- but I can send postcards forever just to make sure you get it).
♠ If anything shows up postage due, please contact me so that I may immediately reimburse you. It hasn't happened yet, but you never know.
Formerly known as RubbishedChico. The profiles have been merged by admin. RubbishedChico was deleted for nearly three years and I decided to come back, requiring a new account. I then contacted admin and had the profiles merged. There were never two profiles simultaneously; I was never 'exposed' and have been completely forthright about my identity from day one; and I have never been in bad standing.
Hello! I'm Victoria, a grad student in Utah studying how video games with historical narrative affect player's historical memory. I'm a capoerista, an avid traveler, and video-game addict. I speak Russian and German due to my degree in history (Cold War for the win!) and love document design due to a degree in professional and technical writing. I spend a lot of time reading, watching movies, playing video games, working on a project in Photoshop or InDesign, and running. One day, I'd like to think I'll run a marathon, but probably not. Too many sweaty people in one area.
I have cosplayed at Salt Lake Comic Con every year since they opened. When summer starts, I begin making props and costumes, skills that otherwise go to waste. I typically go as The Courier from Fallout New Vegas, my husband goes as a Veteran Decanus, and we have friends that go as other Fallout characters. And then there's one friend who goes as Link every year... a bit disconcerting for others to see Link running with a bunch of wastelanders.
Mostly, I'm here for postcard swaps, but sometimes other swaps catch my eye.
Oh! An important note: I don't take much seriously, and I certainly don't take myself very seriously. I dig vulgarity and obscenity. I like when things are a bit off. Basically, my motto is this: wake up, see the day, and realize how awesome it is to be breathing.
On March 18, 2015, I began uploading my swaps to an album on Flickr. It can be accessed here or on the Here Be Spoilers link above.
Postcrossing is my favorite hobby and I love all types. It's about time I updated this list, so here goes.
Note: I do like Redbubble and Etsy, but I don't like Zazzle much (odd shape, offset -- I won't care if you send me a Zazzle, though).

♣ My ears are stretched to an 8, so sending earrings is sweet, but I can't use them.
♣ I don't really wear jewelry in general. It gets in the way and I develop rashes if metal is next to my skin.
♣ Cigarette Smoke. My parents smoked in the house growing up and now that I'm on my own, I can't stomach the smell. It makes me nauseous.
♣ Things for children/kid stuff. I don't have kids, so it goes to waste.
♣ Tea and coffee.
♣ Anything meant to convert me.
♣ Reward stickers.
