11/21/08 UPDATE When it rains, it pours. My husband of nearly 9 years has decided he is moving out today. He informed me on the 18th that he wants a divorce.

He is leaving me with my 4 children, no money, no job, and very little food in the house (he was the wage -earner, I was the homemaker.)

Regretfully I will not be able to finish any of the remaining swaps I am in. I am very very sorry. I have found angels for some. I will try to find angels for the rest. If you owe me swaps, please just keep them or send me a message and I will have you forward it to the person I was to send to instead.

I am very disappointed and very truly sorry. It's not fair to those of you who are waiting for swaps from me. Unfortunately I have no control over it and my hands are tied. Please accept my sincere apologies.

11/17/08 UPDATE: I have come up against some health issues with my two boys, 9 and 12. We have to make an urgent trip to Denver, CO to a children's Hospital as my boys have been diagnosed with a very rare disorder called OTC Deficiency. We have been running ragged between Montana (where we live) and North Dakota (where one doctor is at and now Denver has been added to the plate.

I have dropped as many swaps as I can, however have several to finish up. I'm a little behind but will get them finished up and on their way ASAP. I wish I would have known sooner as I wouldn't have signed up for all of these.

I hope my partners can give me some grace. With the abundance of flakers lately on Swap-bot, I know how frustrating it is to not receive your swaps. I assure you I will get them out to all of you, they just may be a bit late. Thanks & feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns.

My favorite color is purple. I love things that are shiny and/or sparkle. I love butterflies, starfish, seashells, dragonflies, crosses, and exotic flowers like hibiscus or plumerias. I love thing that are tropical (Hawaiian) and I love the scent of Sandalwood.

I also collect pretty rocks like crystals, agates, and I like sandcastles. I love gardening, vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit...it doesn't matter.

I really enjoy cooking from scratch.

I'm a Go Green kinda girl but not a Vegan Femi-nazi...I eat meat and I like it. I have an online store. Prairie Mamas is the place to go to get your Prairie Pads (winged & circular), Prairie Pantiliners, Prairie Pockets (Wet bags), and other personal products.

I'm all for equal rights NOT based on race or gender or sexual orientation or any other "classification" but rather on actual ability. If you can do "it", great but I don't think you should get it simply because you have boobs or are a minority.

Christian rock and metal. My favorite bands are Demon Hunter, Disciple, Day of Fire, Sanctus Real, Fireflight, Flyleaf, and more.

My favorite secular bands are the Big Hair bands...Def Leppard, Poison, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Cinderella, Metallica, Ratt, all the "good" music from the late 80's early 90's.

I usually read my Bible or other Christian based material. I also like looking through recipe magazines, catalogs, whatever. I'm pretty eclectic. I LOVE craft magazines, especially Family Fun. I've recently began dabbling in Vegetarian recipes, homemade products, making clothing, and such.

I like gangster movies like the Godfather Trilogy, Goodfellas, Casino, Scarface, etc. I also love anything with Nicholas Cage (Con Air, Moonstruck, Raising Arizona, etc.) I like John Travolta, Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta, oh and I can't forget, Robert De Niro!

I usually watch TruTV with my husband who is always watching COPS or some other Law Enforcement themed show. I also like CSI (all of them), Law & Order SVU & CI, Scrubs, House, and so forth.

I like all kinds of crafts. Anything I can do to express my creativity...I have no boundaries and will create with just about anything. ATC's are my favorite-I LOVE seeing what other people come up with, I'm also bettering my sewing skills and began making Mama Cloths to sell.

Anything for embellishing ATC's flowers; brads (all colors and sizes); eyelets (all colors & sizes), ribbon, jewels (rhinestones, etc.); backgrounds; glitter ink pens, gel pens, textured paper scraps, basically anything sparkly, purple, metallic, scrapbooking embellishments (or greeting card embellishments), fabric squares, however I welcome anything anyone feels led to send. With four crafty children, one of us is bound to like it and find it useful in our art!
