I married my Sweetheart on Valentine's Day, 32 years ago and we remain happily married after all these years. Our first child was born on Valentines Day six years later, her middle name is, of course, Valentine. I love to receive Valentines all year long. I love hearts, cupids, especially angels, lace, roses, old embroidery, pastel colors and romance.

I am an active, believing and praying Christian, a native Dallasite, a gardener, and a bird lover. I'm an empty nester with all the crafting time I want. I've never experienced boredom, my house is never clean and I don't have time to cook. If you don't find me crafting you'll find me in my garden enjoying the birds, flowers and nature.

I'm a thrift store shopper, and trash day curbside junky. I enjoy repurposing, altering and reusing everything. I especially enjoy practicing what my momma used to tell me to do, "use the stuff you've already got".

I love to travel. One of my desires is for both my sweetheart and I to retire, buy us a mobile home and hit the road seeing the USA, then on to see the world.

My favorite music is Country and Western, old Southern Gospel, movie and TV theme songs.

I like all the old classics, animation, girly flicks, action movies and old westerns.

Monk and Psych, Am. Idol, HGTV and Style station, Dirty Jobs, History Channel, old classics and old westerns.

I do paper crafts, collage and assemblage, atc's and card making, tags, scrapbooking, matchboxes, shrines and inchies. I love felt and hand stitching, sewing, beading, jewelry making, altered books and embroidery. I've just started making chunky atcs.

My favorite colors are pastels, especially pinks, but there is no colors I don't like.

My favorite scents are rose, fruity and flowers. I like those tiny perfume samples of all sorts.

I'm an iced tea drinker and enjoy an ice cold Dr. Pepper. I love chocolates, sweets, salties and raw vegies.

I like stickers, especially tiny ones, all sorts of embellishments and paper of all sorts, buttons and ribbon and ephemera. I adore old stuff, vintage and retro and anything that can be used on my colleges and altered art.

I always welcome flower seeds and seed packets.

I'm not allergic to anything.

I love bird images. I collect canceled postage stamps and would like to have copies of old handwritten letters. I collect the tags from clothing. Vintage images and old black and white family photos or photocopies. I collect rubber stamps, wine bottle labels, old labels of all sorts, pages from old picture books, old watch parts. I also collect tickets of all sorts, parking passes, train tickets, luggage tags. Everything vintage, everything birds.

I don't like the checkered design, like red/white checked table cloth or black/white checked flag. I do not appreciate witchcraft, dragons, "the dark side", skulls, nudity, goth, anime or gore.
