I hope my profile gives you a bit of an idea about me as a person.

I married my Sweetheart on Valentine's Day, 33 years ago, our first child was born on Valentines Day six years later, her middle name is, of course, Valentine. My daughter's fiance also shares the same birthday. February is a busy month for us. I love receiving and sending Valentines all year long. I love hearts, cupids, especially angels, lace, vintage, old and retro. Receiving hand drawn and hand painted items delights me.

We have two grown children who still call this home, and a 3 year old Beagle who allows us to share it with her.

I would love to receive a short note, or long one, with your swaps. A note which reveals a little something about yourself or just how your days going or what's happening in your life, I love seeing and knowing the person who took the time to create the swap just for me. I especially love love pics of my partners. Notes and pictures make swapping personal and real for me.

I am an active, believing and praying Christian, a non smoker, a native Texan native to Dallas, a gardener, and a bird lover. I've never experienced boredom, my house is never clean and I don't have time to cook.

I'm a thrift store shopper, and trash day curbside junky. I enjoy repurposing, altering and reusing everything. I especially enjoy practicing what my momma used to tell me to do, "use the stuff you've already got".

I always get my swaps out on time. I try to rate all swaps the day they were received. PLEASE, if you don't receive a swam from me send me a message or email so we can try to figure out what happened. I always send extras and always find reasons to give a heart.

My favorite music is Country and Western, old Southern Gospel, movie and TV theme songs.

I like all the old classics, animation, girly flicks, action movies and old westerns. Animation is my most favorite.

I watch HGTV and Style station, History Channel, old classics and old westerns. My son and I enjoy watching and learning from Judge Judy, and what ever makes us laugh like America's Funny Home Video and Wipe Out. We also watch SciFi and 19 Kids and Counting, My hubby and I enjoy Rifleman and Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver, etc. I don't understand basketball or football, but enjoy sitting next to my Sweetheart while he tries to explain it to me. I never miss America's Got Talent.

I've always been a crafty person, you name it, I've made it at least once.

ATCs are my most favorite craft, but I like all paper crafts, collage and assemblage, card making, tags and scrapbooking. I like matchboxes, shrines and inchies. I love felt and hand stitching, sewing, jewelry making, altered books and journals. I like altering and repurposing garments and shoes. My backyard is filled with repurposed and recreated yard ornaments. I really enjoy creating upcycled bookmarks and pretty handmade envelopes.

My favorite colors are pastels, especially pinks, but there is no colors I don't like.

My favorite scents are rose, fruity and flowers, chocolate and the smell of baking.

I'm an iced tea drinker and enjoy an ice cold Dr. Pepper. I love chocolates, sweets, salties and raw vegies.

I like rub-ons especially rub on words, tiny stickers, all sorts of embellishments and paper of all sorts, buttons and ribbon/ I adore old stuff, vintage and retro and anything that can be used on my colleges and altered art. I like dictionary pages, maps, words, printed images, old magazine pages and old catalog ads.

I love oriental and Asian words, etc.

I always welcome flower seeds and seed packets. Two years ago I received a packet of lovely purple Morning Glory seeds in a swap. The gorgeous blooms from those seeds are the highlight of my garden every year.

I love birds, butterflies, dragon flies, flowers especially roses and anything Valentines. I especially love those small sweet children's Valentine's. I love oriental and Asian stamped images and stickers. I like interesting papers, handmade papers and handmade envelopes. I collect canceled postage stamps, bird stickers and stamped images, I especially like stamped images on vellum. I like dictionary pages. I like rubber stamped words, rub-on words and word stickers. I enjoy pen pals, stationery, note cards and address labels. I love bird stickers and stamped images of birds on vellum. I like buttons, laces, trims, ribbons and feathers. I like baby animals and pets.

My "dislikes" are few, my "likes" are many. I don't appreciate witchcraft, "the dark side", nudity, profanity, goth or gore.
