I married my boyfriend on Valentine's Day, 31 years ago. Our first child was born on Valentines Day six years later, her middle name is Valentine. That's when a passion for Valentines, hearts, cupids, angels, lace, roses, sweets and all things romantic entered my life.

I have a beagle puppy and like animals.

I am a Christian, a native Texan, a gardener, a bird watcher, artistic and creative. I've never experienced boredom and my house is never clean.

I work on several craft projects at the same time and have many waiting to start. I'm too busy to cook, but love to eat as indicated by my waist line.

I enjoy watching nature, reading Proverbs and quotes, learning little known facts and old wives tales.

Chocolate is my favorite. I prefer iced tea, R C cola, Fritos and raw vegetables.

I need to spend long lazy hours in the backyard watching my puppy chase the birds and squirrels.

I love the feel of old linens, admiring the charming embroidery on each piece. I am fascinated with crochet doilies and tatting.

I'm a thrift store shopper, and trash day curbside junky. I enjoy repurposing and reusing. I especially enjoy practicing what my momma used to tell me to do, "use the stuff you've already got".

I've just begun to adore Kawaii :)

I love to travel. One of my desires is for both my sweetheart and I to retire, buy us a mobile home and hit the road seeing the USA, then on to see the world.

I seldom listen to music, prefer movie and TV theme songs. Good old Country and western, old southern gospel and classical.

All old classics, I can't think of any I don't like, but I don't like war movies or sad endings. I enjoy a girl flick and especially animation, Walt Disney classics.

Monk is my favorite, Am. Idol, Deal or No Deal, any HGTV and Style station, Dirty Jobs, History Channel. I also like old westerns. I especially like to record my favorite TV programs for commercial free viewing later.

I'm into paper crafts, atc's and card making. I adore matchboxes and inchies and tiny art pieces. I sew and like to make felt projects. I've tried every craft at least once. I especially like to make simple children's crafts then add my own embellishments, embroidery, trims, etc. to create an original masterpiece.

My favorite colors are pastels, especially pinks I feel good wearing pink.

My favorite scents are rose, fruity, flowers and sweet spring.

I collect stickers, especially tiny ones, and embellishments of all sorts, paper of all sorts. Buttons, fabric scraps and ribbon. I really like birds and gardening, roses especilly pink ones. I adore old stuff, vintage and retro, faded and worn.

I'm not allergic to anything.

I love to travel, and admire folks who can just pack up and leave town even if just on a business trip.

Since I'm unable to travel right now, one of my ways of seeing the world is thru collecting airline, train or cruise ship tickets, baggage claim checks and boarding passes. I love to see where folks traveled to and how they got there. Stamped, torn and folded, tickets and tags collected along their way is valuable to me.

I don't like the checkered design,like red/white checked table cloth or black/white checked flag. Nothing "dark", dragons, witches, etc., or anime, etc.
