Mission statement: Rethink Waste: Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle.
10/5/17 Still in recovery from back surgery, but getting better everyday. Can't wait to join more swaps
Hello, my name is Sandra, and I am a hoarder of craft supplies. I lived in Ohio for all my life. Retired from medical billing, due to fibromyalgia. My husband & I met & married after 8 weeks. In 2018 we will celebrate 25yrs . He had 5 children, I had two. Together we have 18 grandchildren and working on our 3rd & 4th great grandchildren.
I like my postcards to be 4x6".
ATCs to be able to fit into my binder, which has 9 pocket pages. I prefer they not be chunky.
Also, if i'm in your "Fill my Stocking" swap, nothing needs to fit inside my stocking.
Jazmin is our youngest granddaughter is 12 going on 31. She spends a lot of time with us, I’m hoping she will catch a crafting bug. I need to pass my supplies onto someone, right?
Oh, and Bonnie & Clyde are those two cute Boston Terriers in the photo.
I am a mixed media artist. I started out doing sewing as a child in 4H, ceramics when I was in my early 20s, and have always taken photos. The digital age has made taking all the photos I want a joy.
I bought supplies, thinking after I retire, I won’t be able to afford them anyway. Maybe I have too much stuff, or my craft room is too small? I have thin dies, for my Spellbinder machine. If you need something I can help you with, let me know.
I send extras, but extras come with new swaps. I thought I would scrapbook, but that hasn’t happened yet, except a few for family members.
I consider Swap-Bot fun, and do it because it’s fun, not for “stuffâ€.
The Page by Page group is nice because I dislike mailing a whole journal due to postage & wondering will it get to its destination. Maybe the receiver dislikes my type of workmanship? So a page is perfect, we all get variety that way
Love Comments when you rate are appreciated good or not so great. I don’t understand people that don’t rate. I don’t understand flakers either. No one makes you sign up for swaps.
I’m going to read your profile; I’m going to check your links out. It’s nice to know something about the person you’re sending to.
If it’s our first swap together I’ll write you a note. It will not say, "here’s your swap, hope you like it". I like knowing you put an effort into your swap
When I was younger I read books all the time but-no longer read except the internet, minimal-commitment reading & directions-just not enough hours in the day
Rethink Waste: Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle Becoming more environmentally conscious is all about changing your consumption along with your habits. The average American creates 1,600 pounds of trash each year. The best thing you can do is to reduce the amount of trash and waste you and your family generate. Yes, I reused packing material, and pass things on I just can't find a place for or can’t use.
