Most people would tell you that I'm generally a nice person. However, I will not be bullied by anyone. I will not engage in any drama. I'm too old for childish games. All I want from this site is to allow my creative side to shine and enjoy myself. I have no hidden agendas.

I live in a busy town in Northern Virginia, very close to Washington, DC. I've lived in this area for most of my life. I love this being close to DC for all it offers, like the Smithsonian Museums, Monuments, and other historical things.

I have a 3 year old Yorkie named Ginger. She's an amazing companion. I also have a 6 month old Pacific Parrotlet named Pekoe. He's a beautiful light blue color.

I'm really easy to please and like most things. I love handmade things because they come from the heart.

Other Randomness about me....

• I love tea and should belong to Tea-a-holics Anonymous. My favorites are Mint Roobios Iced Tea from the Rishi Company. I also love teas from Adagio Teas.

• Recipes. I'm starting a collection of recipes for my daughter. All recipes are welcome, but recipes that are lac free/dairy free are super awesome! I prefer 4x6 cards, if possible.

• Anything from Paper Source! I love this store and am so happy to have one close to my house! (www.paper-source.com) Oh....the temptation!!

• I love Polka Dots!

• Flowers are LOVE! Violets, lilies, tulips and daisies are my favorites.

• Sock Monkeys make me smile!

• Whimsical Frogs rock!

• I enjoy embroidering with my sewing machine, but in all actuality, I don't sew very well at all.

• I prefer Fall, Winter and Spring over Summer.

• I really enjoy Postcrossing!

• I'm a country girl at heart, but I'm stuck in the city. Hopefully someday, I'll move.

• WVU is my Alma Mater! Let's Go Mountaineers! Woo hoo!

• Handy Manny is my guilty pleasure. I totally love this show and enjoy watching it with my adorable grandson.

Although I am not doing much crafting these days, I throughly enjoy making Dotee Dolls. I also like to make Note Cards on occasion.

I do a great deal of crocheting and enjoy making baby blankets. Several of them can be seen on my Flickr.

I enjoy rubber stamping and scrap booking, too, but admittedly, I'm not very good at either.

I'm going to teach myself how to make a hand bound journal just for giggles and grins.

Another 'craft' that I enjoy is pen-palling. I love writing letters and getting to know new friends via snail mail!

This is my list of flakers. I'm really tired of putting forth a great deal of effort and time in a swap and then being flaked upon by irresponsible and uncaring people.
