Sewing, Quilting, paper crafts, collage, beading, handmade journals, and altered art cigar boxes. I have made one reborn doll and have several kits waiting in the wings to be born. They are sitting on the shelf right now I find that I am more interested in sewing and fabric right now. I like polymer clay and air dry clay. I like when my projects have elements of several different types of crafting all mixed together. I guess that would be called assembledge. I have great collection of crafting and quilting books. I really enjoyed In This House and would love to make a house book like that. I am also very intriqued by assembledge art and would like to try that.
I am 50 years old and have been sewing and crafting since I was a child. I consider myself a jack of all trades, master of none. I tend to go on tangents and work like crazy on one type of craft and then move on to another for a while. I always end up back at sewing. I love mixed media. I finally joined Swap-bot at my sisters suggestion and I find I really love it here. This has been an opportunity for me to stretch my wings and share with others. I am a smoker so if you object to receiving items from a smoker, please contact the swap coordinator to have yourself rematched with a new partner. Good news, I have signed up for the stop smoking program thru my health insurance. So hopefully soon I will be able to delete my coment above. It is so hard to even think about quitting, but I have to do it for my health, my family and my friends. I am a Christian. I respect other people rights to their beliefs, but do not share them.
Crafting books, mysteries, thrillers, love stories, science fiction. Basically any genre except western. Favorite authors include Terry Goodkind, JRR Tolkein, JA Jance to name just a few. I have a lot of books.
Reality TV, ER, Greys Anatomy, craft shows, Torchwood, Cash in the Attic, How Clean is your House, Charmed, Carol Duvall, Simply Quilts, some DR Phil shows, organizing and decorating shows.
Old 40's comedies, current comedies, action, science fiction and thrillers. Anything with Will Smith or Denzel Washington.
Rock and Roll from 60's, 70's and 80's. Enya. Some country. Irish instrumentals. Soundtracks from movies.
I love frilly, lacy, colorful, fabric or fiber things. Handmade is wonderful because you not only receive something, but a little insight into your swap partner. I like pastels and bold bright colors. But any color, fabric, thread, fiber or handmade craft is great. The hand dyed and batik fabrics are amazing. I like dolls and fairies and vintage items. I like tea things and tea parties, but I don't need any tea I have plenty. I collect old teenagers book series like Cherry Ames nursing and Sue Barton books. I love anything antique or vintage,
Craft or sewing supplies. Used is OK. Things like:
Fibers or lace, sewing thread any color.
Grossgrain ribbon or any type of ribbon any length. I use the little bits 2" in my art journal.
A partially used sticker sheet (please no alphabets though)
A charcoal pencil or pastel stick
a rubber stamp
Something you purchased, now do not need and can't return for a refund.
Bits of fabric. Small pieces that could be used in an assembledge.
Please don't make a trip to the store to buy for me. I would prefer to swap handmade items and currently owned craft supplies. I am disabled and on a very low income so I would not be able to reciprocate. I was cleaning up the attic the other day and find that I have a huge amount of color pencils left over from when my son was in school. Although I do like the watercolor pencil set I purchased. I just made a really nice fabric roll holder for them the other day.

My dear friend, I hope you read on the forums where I stood up for you. I am so sorry that happened. You are a very kind, sweet, and gentle lady and I love you very much.
Thank you so much, Linda, for the remarkable quantity and quality spices you sent me for August wishlist. I'm going to use the Italian spices in the next hour. I just open it, and it smells so great!!! perfect for the pasta sauce I'm cooking. thanks again and hugs,
Please don't worry about what they say.Unfortunately you are not allowed to have an opinion unless it is to agree with them. It's all just a bunch of same old same old anyways. The material might start off new but the past is always dredged up again.
I think your fantastic anyway. If you ever want to talk I'm around.
Linda, Don't let them get you. I adore ya!

Hey Linda, How are you?
Hi, your "mystery package" was from me. I found the note that was supposed to go in it sitting here on my desk, lol. I'm glad you liked it :)
Thank you very much for the lovely surprise or black paper, a white pen (how cool!), and some vintage ephemera. I am amazed that you would send me some ancient prescriptions. You couldn't possibly know this, but my downstairs bathroom is decorated in part with old pharmacy slips that are Mod-Podged to the wall! Your gifts will go up there with the others. Wow. Thanks again.
I received your monumental package today. I thought I would never stop pulling awesome items out of that box. I can't beleive that you sent all of that to me. I am simply flabberghasted! I love the paints, the watercolor sheets, the yearbook, the whole bundle of scrapbook paper and I can't even list it all. I feel like I am sooooo loved today. Wow! Thank you so much, dear sister.
