i am a 27 year old sagittarius (strong scorpio cusp.) i am an artist, finally able to create art and write and love life at the same time. i have fallen deeply in love with learning as an experience. with realizing that i can do ANYTHING and doing it. i want to live and not think about it. i want to leave and return seeing things differently. always. i want to become who i am supposed to be, i never want to remain who i am. i have one self published poetry book on lulu.com - broken vessel. i have an empty etsy store (i hope to fill in 2008.) if i were in high school now i would probably be called "emo" as i have a black/gray/deep color style and don't over socialize with absolutely everyone. i am very spiritual, but not very religious. i do love crosses and rosaries...

sock monkeys, scrap booking, pen & watercolor, polymer clay... photography, i love taking pictures with my digital camera and my polaroid to use later in my art! i have dyslexia and as a result i am a spell-check aholic.

rainbows, i am fruit for rainbows! my journals - i journal like a nut case (i am also completely addicted to journals. i pick them up all the time even though i haven't finished the one i am currently working on, maybe because i lost all mine to katrina. i really don't know.) i am wickedly fascinated by paperclips (like odd shaped, bright or unique types.)i am sooo into astrology, contact me maybe i will do your chart! fun! i am CRAZY-INSANE about sock monkeys - you have to check out my flickr pics and banana hill, my sock monkey blog! SOCK MONKEYS FOR LIFE!!!! i am a poet and adore sharing poetry with others and reading theirs. BLUE is my fav color. (wow, it's so weird to write that. my whole life i have been on the fence over blue or green. at 24 i finally committed to blue, and then started buying more green clothing. hehehe. i am such a sagittarius sometimes.) shink-a-dinks make me happy. i am a sushi freak! i a stoopid proud of my scrapbook. i will scrapbook anything. ani difranco is my soul mate, her music is what my art would be if it were made of voice and instrument. sacred hearts mesmerize me, i draw and paint them often. bird of paradise candles make me swoon! (it's so odd because of allergies i usually can't take smelly candles other that vanilla, and while i love that it gets boring, maybe that 's why i am in love with this new flavor!) cotton candy, hmmm. yeah, cotton candy, cotton candy flavored tcby or bubble gum! yummy! pill boxes, because i take adhd (no, i never grew out of it like 98% of children with adhd do) medication daily i am a jerk over a pretty pill box!

anything by francesca lia block, christopher moore, holly black, james st. james. the may bird books (may bird and the ever after.) lost souls. i am constantly looking for a good graphic novel which is consistent with it's art, far too many times the art sucks after the first page.

law & order, pretty much all of them. CSI, most of them. reality tv on mtv, and some other stations, but mainly mtv.

i guess i should list food, as it seems people must send it because everyone says not to. please don't send me food. also please don't send very strong smelling anything, my allergies go ballistic over anything really loud even if it smells amazing.

i have brown eyes. my ears are pierced. i have three pet mice, all girls, named pharisees, delilah, nicodemus. (pharisees and delilah have passed on after living long happy mouse lives!) i have three pet rats, all boys, named vida boheme, noxeema jackson, chi-chi rodriguez.

i am here for the art, handmade and photography swaps. i love etsy, but that could get soooo costly. here i get to share my own art and receive art also, and get mail - what could make that better? i send my items as soon as i get the addresses (unless the item is personalized and then ASAP) so if you do not receive something PLEASE let me know before rating me poorly. i heart anything that takes time and effort, extras are nice but truly not needed. :) i send extra when i can, but for the most part i work very hard on each of the things i make. the extra is in the detail and care i take. my atcs are usually ink & water color; sometimes hand drawn in ink and either colored pencil, water colored, sharpie, crayola marker (because i have been obsessed lately,) or layered paper art. (or a mix of them.) i don't do a lot of lace and picture collage, and over the top is not really my style. i send originals for swaps; UNLESS i okay sending a high quality, hand embellished print with the swap coordinator or i am send the high quality hand embellished print as extra. - did you notice that both times i talked about prints i said quality and hand embellished? what i mean by this is that i have a print of my basic line drawing made on card stock and then i water color, or whatever means i choose, so the end result is still a one of a kind beautiful atc.
