I'm in my 60s and retired from state government in Maine. I live part time in Florida and part time on an Island in Maine (hence the moniker! LOL). I have one daughter and 2 step daughters; 1 grandson and 3 grand daughters. Ernie and I will be celebrating 20 years together in 2010. I've been stamping for about 12 years or so.

I love jazz and light classical music. Kenny G is one of my fav artists. David Sandborn wrote a song called Lesley Ann (my name) and it was the first CD I ever bought!

I'm a pretty avid reader and love mysteries and adventure books. I've been reading scrapbooking and stamping and knitting mysteries the last few years as well as Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler. My list of books to read is longer than I'm sure I'll ever have time to read them! LOL I've read, and plan on re-reading a Joan Anderson book called "A Year by the Sea". If you haven't read it, it's about a woman who goes off for a year, away from her husband trying to figure out if she should remain married. This is about her life, not fiction. The sequel is called "An Unfinished Marriage". Both are wonderful.

My favorite movie of all time is Dirty Dancing. I also like dramas, thrillers and chick flicks! I'm a fairly new subscriber to Nexflix and love it!

I've done many crafts in my lifetime. Right now my craft is rubber stamping. I really like to make mini books. I cross stitch, knit, crochet, bead - you get the picture. I'm into Inchies and recently made my first set of twinchies! I also love to make ATCs. I have a hard time with collage. I've got many things to use, but don't always know how to put things together.

My favorite colors, at the moment, ar pinks and purples. I'm not crazy about black, but like almost all other colors.

I like almost all embellishments. I've got a ton of ribbon, but not much lace. I'd like to have narrow laces that I could use on ATCs. I am getting the glitter habit from my sister and use it lots now. I like buttons.

Christmas is my all time fav holiday. I have a hard time with Halloween and St. Pat's Day. I don't have many things for either of those holidays, but I'm getting more for Halloween.

There aren't too many (I don't think! LOL). I don't like seafood, but I'm trying to integrate some into my diet. I don't do clams or mussels or oysters. I really dislike liver. I don't like cigarettes (sp?). I don't like clingy people. I don't like scarry - horror - movies.
