In no order
I am 55 but my Wii Fit age is 38.
I am from Alabama.
I have two degrees. My happy happy undergrad days were spent in and my BS degree is from Auburn University.
My Grad degree is from UofA in Tuscaloosa.
My husband came south from NY to attend AU on a track scholarship and never left. He is a member of three USA Olympic Teams, 1976, 1980, & 1984
(Gold) and a member of Alabama Sports Hall of Fame..
I begin college an art student and ended up with an undergrad degree in Early Childhood. Once upon a time you had to be an amateur to participate in the Olympics and that meant someone had to have work the months he traveled with the USA team...he earned spots on teams until our daughter was 8 years old.So I earned my Masters in Library Services and work in my city's ALA award winning library.. We have one perfect daughter. She was born New Years Eve '82 Only 11 days after I graduated from AU she return to completed her own degree in Architecture in '07. She has her own condo now but lives in the area and is completing her Intern requirements with the oldest firm in Alabama.
Altered anything; books, journals, old sofa paintings.. ACT's I used to quilt but have not hand quilted anything since just after college. Once upon a time I did a lot of cross-stitch but lost interest in that after college.
My first 'favorite' album was 'Jail House Rock' sound track by Elvis. Some of my favorite albums (yes the round things) and downloads include...the Beatles, The Monkeys, the Doobies, the Eagles, Bob Seger, Jackson Brown, Donna Summers, The Commodores, Michael Jackson, Rick James, Quincy Jones, Steele Dan, Bonny Ray, Phil Collins, Tom Petty, Coldplay, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, on and on.
I am a children's librarian so I never have time to read...Ok one of my first and still favorite is To Kill a Mockingbird. It was important because it showed everyone in rural Alabama were not racist and because it was written by an Alabama woman.
A child of the 50's & 60's I watch to much TV plus my husband used to work for NBC Sports. Ok...In the beginning I loved the Food Channel; Two Fat Ladies, the originally Iron Chef and Alton Brown when he filmed from his plain little kitchen...now it is just about the Food Network Stars...not the cooking...So I am so glad I discovered PBS"s new CREATE channel and shows like One Fine Day and the American Test Kitchen. Still love PBS American Road Show, HBO's Hung, True Blood and Big Love. I watch SEC football reruns on Sundays in fall....especially Auburn's even though I attend the games. I like to hear what they say about the game. I like Glee, NCIS and never miss the NBC Evening News and as much as I bitch about their female co host I watch Today every morning getting ready for work. I dis like the bias Fox News but watch to know what they are going on about. I love Jon Stewart and Third Rock when I remember to watch it. Lately my daughter has me watching Chelsey Lately...I love Ross the Intern...and he is from here.
My first favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz. Last movies I went to see was Sherlock Holmes and The Blind Side
I currently am watching alot of the Dog Whisper...I have a 3 month old boxer puppy. The third I have owned, the first female and the most challenging. Her name is Shug...not short for Suger but named for Shug Jordan, AKC AUBURN'S SHUG JORDAN, a former Auburn's football coach. My daughter was a hostess for AU's Football program while a student and she named her. .
