I'm a practising artist from sunny South Africa who is currently residing in Johannesburg and studying to be a teacher.

I love reading, watercolour painting, and ballett... Pina Coladas and long walks on the beach! ;) I love art and crafts that are fun!

I live with my very patient all endearing fiance Johno (I'm getting married March) who can't understand why I make cool stuff only to give it away! We live in a tiny cottage in someones yard with three fuzzy mice... Hunca, Munca and Moo - and our cat Woof (yes, ironic - and yes, he does want to eat the mice!). My smallest, Moo, looks kinda like a cow, white with brown spots! They are all really cute!

My favourite colour is tricky coz I like them all (I suppose its the artist in me :)

My all time favourite book is The Secret Garden, I love ANYTHING to do with the Flower Fairies (the origional Cecily M Barker ones). I'm a Fantasy buff- I enjoy Terry Pratchet for his quirky humour. I'm also an avid History reader- Phillipa Gregory is a top contender for my favourite!

The series "House" ... Hugh Laurie can be my sugar daddy anyday (the fiance has appropriately expressed his disgust at that)! I am guilty of enjoying home design programmes (although my "nest" inevitably looks like a bomb has hit it) . I love the National Geographic Channel & Pimp My Ride (I have a thing for old cars).

The Secret Garden (The Warner Bro.s version- 1994-ish), Pride& Predjudice (the looooong BBC mini-series), Girl with the Pearl Earing, Taken & I also have a soft spot for the Pixar animated stuff!

I love watercolours, ever since I was a little girl, and I've completed a botanical illustration course. ATC's hold a special appeal to me! I looove anything sewing related (my mother taught me how to sew and embroider when I was 6). I also have an addiction to art on or with or anything to do with paper.

(I have a feeling that I may end up being addicted to all crafts!)

If I have not rated you, I have not received your package. It does take 2 -3 weeks for post to arrive in South Africa. I will rate a 1 only if I do not receive the package and I cannot make contact with that respective swap partner. Please note however, I believe it is the sender's responsibility to follow up on packages and ratings, please do not expect me to follow up.

I do follow up on my packages, but bear in mind it takes a little longer for packages to arrive from South Africa. I will always re-send if you have not recieved my package after 6 weeks. I post all my sent items on flickr (eventually)!
