About Me
I'm married to a wonderful husband (of 14 years), have one great cat (Oscar) and a toddler (Brody). We were unable to have children after trying for over 8 years, but God has blessed us with a little boy in 2009. Who would have ever thought after so much time! :)
I do a lot of volunteer work on the side and love to be crafty, although I don't always have as much time to devote to it as I would like.
I love trying to make new things and have just recently opened up an Etsy store and hope to sell some things there to make some extra income.

Favorite Crafts
Making small scrapbooks for people (I've never done a good job at creating one for myself), altering things, recreating basically anything I see in a magazine, making envelopes, fabric journals, and quilting. I love to be creative and find it very freeing. I recently (March 2011) discovered Zentangles and LOVE them!
Likes
My favorite color is green. I also love dark oranges and browns (close seconds to green). :) I love office supplies and basically anything that is organizational (I'm an organizational freak and everything has it's place). Unique or designed notebooks, post-it notes, and mechanical pencils (fine point) are my favorite. I love candles (clean scents, spice scents, but not fruity or floral scents), coffee, and chocolate (and sometimes all at one time). :) I love frogs (not sure why, but I've loved them forever, so I just go with it now). :) I'm a huge fan of lip balms and non-sticky lip gloss. I love meeting new people and love Swap-Bot!

Hi Jan! So nice to meet you! Well, I live in Greensboro. I like coffee, hot in the winter time and cold in the summer and from Starbucks. We do have a Keurig which we really like. This way, we do not waste coffee or tea. We have 4 kids, 12 grands, one great grandbaby and a Poodle, Onyx who lets us live here. I volunteer also, I support our Troops and have adopted a Soldier and a Unit over there. I love sending care packages. I hope you have a wonderful day! Hello to Brody!
Hi, I'm your swap partner in "read my profile and write a comment" swap, so here I go :) I love coffee too, but iced only when it's warm outside, in my country it's about 8-9 months of really hot weather. I have 2 little girls ( 3 and 1 y.o) who bring fun and purpose to my life and I'm pretty sure our children would love to play together :) I really admire you for being a volunteer, I think it's great that some people just want to help others.
