FAMILY

Husband, Andy

Love of my life, Have been together since we were teenagers and I still get butterflies when he looks at me that certain way, Married for 14 years and counting, We have our ups and downs like normal people but I cannot imagine life without him. He works as a laborer by day and trains for MMA (mixed martial arts, like the UFC) at night. He is a gamer, a D&D geek and one of a kind.

Ariana

15 years old, Favorite colors are neon colors, turquoise, pink and CAMOUFLAGE, Loves COWS and SQUIRRELS, Also enjoys coffee like her Mama! Nail Art, She is a COUNTRY gal at heart! She likes working on farms, making maple syrup, working with animals... and is NOT afraid to get covered in mud. Cute farm boys make her swoon!

Braeden

13 years old, He loves ANYTHING video game related, His favorite color is teal, Loves PIGS and TURTLES,He also loves MINECRAFT, Loves historical books/non-fiction and anything ZOMBIES, He LOVES bowling. His high score is 188!

Little Sister, Layla:

I am also a Mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I have a 12 year old Little Sister with emotional and behavioral disabilities, She loves One Direction, especially Harry Styles, Fave colors are purple, neon colors and anything leopard print, LOVES Monster High, LOVES Elvis Presley

Padji Snorticus

He is 7 and our furry baby! He is a super mellow and cuddly Shih Tsu who loves laying in the sunshine, belly rubs, pancakes (we call them Padji-cakes just for him), peanut butter sandwiches and milkbones. He wears a size Medium in doggie clothes and loves squeaky toys.

Cupcake the Chick

My teenager recently brought home a baby Chick. Some teenage girls bring home boys... Mine brought us home a fuzzy little yellow chick. This is new to us, so any advice on building coops or other chicken-related advice is awesome. I managed to build a pretty sweet brooder for the little critter until it outgrows it. I have to admit, its a cute little creature and we have already fallen in love with its little peeps!

TV:

Criminal Minds, Dr. Spencer Reid and Penelope Garcia are my favorite characters from Criminal Minds, Snapped, 48 Hours Mystery, Forensic Files, Mystery Detectives, The Walking Dead (I Love Daryl Dixon and Shane, too bad he's not on it anymore-he was super hot!), Wonderfalls

Colors:

Lime green, blues, greens, purples, Black/White/Red combinations, Gothic patterns, Black and White patterns, Art Nouveau/Art Deco patterns, Rainbows, Jewel tones, Vibrant/Bright, Cultural, Papers/Fabric with a COFFEE theme, Batik fabrics are awesome too! Oh, and GLITTER (that's considered a color, right!?)

My favorite flower is the Iris (especially the big purple kinds with yellow centers), Fire & Ice Roses, Ariana Roses (my daughter's name is Ariana), Ferns, Any kind of mushrooms on things are cute (postcards, stickers, tags, stamps...), all trees/forests are wonderful, birds (my favorite is the Indigo Bunting (they are the most incredible blue!), dragonflies, butterflies, and especially WHIMSICAL WOODLAND CRITTERS.

ADDICTED to Art Books!! Would LOVE anything with vintage illustrations for collage (especially anatomy/architecture), Anything by Keri Smith, Criminolgy/Forensics/Psychology, True Crime/Serial Killer Books, Erica Spindler, Patricia Cornwell, Lisa Gardner, Cleo Coyle (Coffeehouse series), Edgar Allen Poe, Marie Rainer Rilke, Poetry Anthologies, Feminist Literature, Marcus Aurelius, and some children's literature that you are never too old for such as Alice In Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, Pippi Longstocking, The Giving Tree, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Mouse Tales, Dr.Suess, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus (and all his other adventures), Walter the Farting Dog and Monster at the End of This Book (one of my faves as a child).
