I've been doing PC swaps on Postcrossing for about 8 months now, and I was so excited to find another active swap site!

I'm a college student in Virginia; I study Spanish and Philosophy. I love bright colors (green and orange are my favorites) and funny, quirky things (yay for sarcasm). I especially love butterflies and deer. I'm sorta geeky so geek-related humor rocks my socks. :-P

I love all music with solid percussion and/or quality lyrics. My all-time favorite artist is Ani DiFranco. I also listen to Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Ben Harper, Godsmack, Gaia Consort, and Anberlin.

I love to read, though there is considerably less pleasure reading time in college. I love the Earth's Children series by Jean M Auel, anything by TC Boyle, and Stephen King, though my bookshelf is always very eclectic. Lately I've been reading a lot of Cold War-era sci-fi and robot-related fiction.

I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan! I'm from New Jersey, so his movies always have a little taste of home. :) My favorite movies include: Beauty and the Beast, Lost in Translation, Adam Sandler movies, Casablanca, and other romantic movies from that time. I'm also into sci-fi and action movies, but they have to have good plots.

I watch House, Dexter, Weeds, True Blood, Family Guy and Robot Chicken when I actually have time to watch TV.

My addiction to snail-mail started with PostCrossing. Here, I mostly do PC swaps because they're cheap and fun, and I don't have to worry about spending too much time on them (or a possible late or no-send). Now I collect postcards from around the world. :-)
