My friend Cindy introduced me to swap-bot. What fun!

I'm a Christian mom of five great kiddos - three homeschooling highschoolers, one newly married dd and her soldier hubbie, my newly adopted son (in-law).

We live in the N. Central Region of the Sunshine State, where we love lake swimming (watch out you gators), and playing with our two springer spaniel/boarder collie mixed doggies.

A good deal of my time is filled with algebra, literature and biology classes, along with sports, dance and music practices. My dh and I also own three different businesses. However, art is my passion and I love being able to connect with other artists and crafts-people through the internet and sites like swap-bot.

I have already been enjoying ATC swapping with the 'Everyday Matters' group members, and am really looking forward to swapping through Swap-Bot!!

Mostly, I like to listen to jazz when I'm making art, but I love all kinds of music (when it's done well). I love listening to my kids practicing their instruments and hearing them play in their youth band at church.

Some of my favorite groups/artists are; Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman, Hillsong, Counting Crows, Ray Charles, Diana Krall, Mozart, Rachmaninov, Mindi Abair..etc..etc...etc

The Bible, Lonesome Doves, The Chosen, Count of Monte Cristo, Where the Wild Things Are, The BFG & all of Roald Dahl's books, Dr. Suess books, The Star of Kazan...and lots more. I love children's picture books & have a big collection of them.

Gene Kelly & Fred Astair films, the old Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers, Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, You've Got Mail, Waterhorse, Nim's Island, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium...

I love drawing, illustration, water color painting and making things. One day I'll have time for scrapbooking.

I collect Vintage FiestaWare, Vintage makeup compacts, children's picture books, and ATC cards. Cats rule (I have a tuxedo cat named Mac), giraffes are really neat (they're so elegant), Italian food is awesome, and Art Deco design rocks!
