I am a forty three year old mum of three boys, although they're not really boys now, they are quite grown up. I'm blissfully happily married. I am an avid bookcrosser, reader and crafter. I have been a vegetarian since childhood. My favourite colours are purple (all shades of), pink, and blue, I'm not keen on orange, bright yellow or acid colours. I work as a volunteer adviser for a charity, evry day is different and I love it.

Most types except very heavy metal - my boys play enough of that, thank you! My least favourite singer is Kylie Minogue, her voice really grates on me. The CDs in my car currently are by Mika, The Beatles, The Rat Pack and The Puppini Sisters - I said I like a mixture!

Again, easier to say what I don't like! I'm not too keen on horror or violence, and I find Tom Cruise to be virtually unwatchable. My all time favourite movies are Chocolat, Pretty Woman and Elf.

Knitting, scrapbooking, papercrafts, sewing - most things! I've just bought a sewing machine and I want to try my hand at dressmaking, I tried years ago but didn't have the time (or a good enough machine) to make a good job of it.

I love reading! I can't imagine a life without books. My current favourite authors are Joanne Harris, Jodi Picoult, D H Lawrence, Anita Shreve among others. I enjoy most genres of writing except scifi and fantasy.
