I inherited my creativity from one grandma and my style from the other.
My dad's mom paints intricate roses and tiny violets on china and quilts every day. She's game for all my DIY project ideas, from Pendleton wool Christmas stockings to homemade candles from crayon shavings. (They exploded.)
My mom's mom took me along on her antiquing trips and instilled my love for all things vintage. She taught me about good taste and the importance of our daily Dr. Pepper break. I'm still learning all her decor, fashion and cooking secrets.
Enjoying newlywed life.
Soaking up the PNW.
Wishing a corgi was in our future.
Adjusting to a gluten-free diet.
Counting down the days until Hamilton live.
I enjoy hand lettering, calligraphy, drawing, painting, mixed-media and scrapbooking.
I love Kuretake and Staedtler pens for sketching, Tombow markers for brush lettering and Sharpie markers for all the jobs. My favorite calligraphy nibs are the Zebra G and Brause Rose.
I am a collector!
Vintage ephemera and office supplies have a special place in my heart. My new favorites are award ribbons and gift wrap. And stamps! I swoon over anything with horses.
I also love turquoise jewelry, blue and red graniteware and red Fiesta dishes.
