About Me

Updated March 20, 2023: It's been a long time, but I have some battles going on in life that kept me away - but I'm back, and I am ready to swap!

I am a Mon-Fri nurse, but not working with patients at this time. I also love gardening and birding, and enjoy cooking and wine tastings.

Family is everything to me! I don't have children, never will - by choice. I have two kittehs, two mini-hamsters, and am currently rehabbing a baby squirrel.

I tend to have a smart-ass attitude most of the time. I can hang with the crudest of 'em, but turn around and be more of a lady than the fake ones. My attitude about life is that you only live once. So eat the cake, drink the tequila, and drop a few bucks on things in life that make you happy. Like wine. And kittens.

I don't watch TV, no time; I despise shopping, unless it is grocery shopping.

I dabble

I tend to dabble a little into a multitude of projects. Altered crap, paper crafts, terrariums, sewing stuff, nature, anything goes. My dad is an engineer, a technician of building crap, and a mechanic. I have a tendency to sort through his toss-puts from his garage and use parts and pieces for assembling art and other nifty tidbits.

Please no plastic canvas crosses. * Please no altered Barbie Doll stuff * Disney * Anything related to babies or children * Anything religious * No cartoony characters or themes * No cheap extras that you donโ€™t want * Anything that smells like mothballs or perfume or cigarette smoke * (Incense is okay) (Yes I know I am picky, but I spend a lot of time creating crafts and stuff based on peopleโ€™s interests, even those who wonโ€™t give a star if a particular color is ANYWHERE in their package, so I hope people give me the same consideration :)

Private Swaps

Send me a message if you are interested in doing private swaps - I enjoy those because they are a little more personal. Also, I remember when I was a brand-spankin-new Swap-bot member, how hard it was to get into groups and swaps. Also, note, there is a "Newbie Helpers" group!

Comment: You and me, we're married now. I'm sorry to your husband. And mine LOL. I am so in love with the card and the envelope and the everything and I am dying. This past week has been the worst week of my life and seeing that envelope and opening has made me so happy tonight I think I can make it through class. What's funny is my bff was paired to send to me for a swap and she made it all pirate themed but the box she sent it in is just brown paper wrapped and I got it in the mail the same time as yours. I took a picture of both and sent them to her like "I think she's trying to one up you!" To answer your question about my liking to watch games played, I am absolutely TERRIBLE at playing RPGs but I love them so much! I just don't have the patience or attention span to play myself. So I watch play throughs on YouTube and my husband plays for me. I like playing simple, level based, and kid games cause I can actually pay attention to it lol.
