I'm a librarian. I like crafts, knitting, and most music except country.

I carry my camera around to document things that interest me, and then I forget to take any pictures.

Likes: movies, anything black & white, mail art, yarn, makeup, glitter, girly stuff, kawaii, handwritten anything, recipes, photos, note cards, Milwaukee Brewers, black and gold (go Iowa Hawkeyes!), postcards, like ATCs but have only made about 5 so far.

I love water and beaches, and my ideal vacation is going somewhere on the water and just relaxing and reading.

Reading Of course I read all the time, but I also like to know what you are reading and why you like it. My personal favorites are: 1. Mysteries--especially detective novels. I love them with strong female characters, but I will read any of them.
2. Chick lit--again, strong females are my favorite 3. Romantic suspense--I'd put the Janet Evanovich series in this category, but Stephanie Bond books are better. 4. Non-fiction--craft books, cookbooks, self-help, business, new age. 5. Magazines! I tried to cut down on the number I subscribe to (was about 20) but then I started buying them at the grocery store. I actually read them, and then cut them up and use for my projects or send relevant articles to people--thus the library copies will NOT work.

If I like a book, I will sit down and read it in one day, two at the most. I can never answer the "what am I currently reading" question because the answer will be different tomorrow.

Dislikes: Not very much if it comes in the mail to me!

I'm not a big fan of "puppy & kitten" stuff. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats, and I prefer the real ones. I can't sew at all so fabric is just wasted on me.
