About Me

My name is Sylvia. I live in the sunny deserts of Arizona. I am definately a knitter although I am trying to challenge myself to learn some crochet tricks as well. I like projects that can be still enjoyed in warm weather. I also quilt a bit and like fun fabric, ribbon and buttons.

As far as reading, I love mysteries, historical fiction, classics and biographies. As you knitters and crocheters know, I mostly get my reading done by audiobook so it doesn't cut into my knitting time.

My kitchen theme is fruit. I decorate my kitchen in green, mostly lime and lighter green colors with accents of other fruit colors.

FOOD: I also love to cook. My favorite food to eat is Indian food, but I am pretty good at cooking Mexican food. I also think you can never go wrong with chocolate, although baking is not usually my forte. I am working on it!

MUSIC: My music tastes are eclectic. Faves are 80's, 90's, current popular music and country from 90's to now.

PROJECTS I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON: (In case you need ideas)

Knitted spa sets in 100% cotton yarn (all colors)

Christmas Quilt (Red, Green and metallic Gold)

Blue patchwork Quilt

THINGS I LIKE: Yarn, stationary, Fat Quarters, Pens, Postcards, Buttons, Ribbons, Anything girlie (i.e. lotions, make-up, jewelry, candles, whatever :))

OTHER FAVES: - My favorite color is Green, but I like all colors.

  • I collect Angel ornaments particularly ones in white and/or gold.

  • Fave Holidays: Christmas, 4th of July and Halloween

  • Fave Animal: Cats and Fish

  • Fave Travel Location: Paris or France in general

DISLIKES: Sour Candy, erotica
