Update 11/17: I have gotten all my late swaps in order, and swaps being sent out on time! Thanks for all of your kind words, good thoughts, patience and trust!

Hey swap-botters. Just so you know, life has finally happened to me. I just found out my step mother has pancreatic cancer and will be gone from us before Christmas. I am sorry that i have not posted or communicated this before then, but I am in a state of shock and awe. She is only 50 years old. So, my weekends have been dedicated to her, and that's when I do all my crafting. I also had to fly home for a wedding. I promise I AM NOT FLAKING, rest assured. I am just a bit behind. Please forgive me, and I will get stuff off asap......please understand. And as you can see I am a good swapper, but life happens. I apologize in advance. This goes for late ratings as well :) SO sorry, and I will get the swaps out soon.********

I like art, I like rock-n-roll. I like my dog. I like my boyfriend. We have been together 5 years. No we are not getting married. No, we are not having kids. Yes, we are having too much fun for any of that.

THE POSITIVE~~ Some things I'm into in no particular order are: mix cd's (not top 40 or country puh-leese), Garbage Pail Kids!!! Harry Potter (Slytherin is badass), Old Sweet Valley High books, Elvis, rock-n-roll, BUST magazine, knee highs, stripes, zombies, alternative comics, drag queens, Indian and Japanese culture, exploring, lamps from the 50's, googey architecture, atomic designs, monsters, serial killers, PBR, tattoos, street art, clowns, Rat Fink, Archie McPhee, The Rat Pack, vegan/vegetarian food, my bike, Bettie Page an other pin-up girls, rockabilly imagery in general, being a groupie,sarcasm, vinyl, old skool sneaks and Chuck Taylors, afros, late 70's NYC, breakdancing, Quentin Taratino, vintage magazines and advertisements, Flickr (BTW...the my Flickr photos section is for my swaps, the MY WEBSITE section is for my personal Flickr photos..My REAL Flickr site if you will), and Velvet Paintings. I guess I could have just wrapped that up by saying, " I adore kitsch and Tack." . My favorie colors are pink, red, black, purple and neon green. I like scents that remind me of baked goods (chocolate, cinamon, vanilla, clove, nag champa)

THE NEGATIVE~~ I hate being flaked on. Seriously. I don't like things that are considered "cute" or flowery, romantic, etc. I don't like southwestern themes, and I don't like scrabooking stuffs unless its "edgy," and where are you gonna find that? I have moved beyond cartoon characters, unless you find some OLD Hanna Barbara stuff ( I'm on the prowl for Grape Ape). I can't eat candy anymore, so don't send it because i will eat it and that will hurt me. (im very childlike with the willpower and such, meh.) Candy from foreign land will not be wasted, as the BF really likes strange foods. I'm way too old and crusty for Kawaii, at least i think I am. I dont mind it, but it will more than likely be re-swapped, and i think that makes me a schmuck. Not that into plushies, but my dog is...you can see where that is going. I don't GIVE her plushies, but she sure can jump. That makes me just feel bad, so please don't bother. i don't really like tea, unless its chai. I'm quite the lefty politically, so American flag, yellow ribbon, GW, right wing, conservative, jugdementalist christian swag will be sent back. Im not a satan worshiper, and I do love my country, and I do want the troops to come back home, I just dont need any epherma related to such. capise?

Did I mention that I hate being flaked on. I'd rather have you tell me that you just have time for it or something, just don't leave a girl hanging. I know there a lot of good swappers out there, but I am frustrated and confused by people who sign up for something, know they have a month or so to do it, and then just don't. A month.

I love my ipod and love everything on it. I also find guilty pleasure in watching shows aimed at teenagers (degrasssi, saved by the bell, adventures of pete and pete, clarissa explians it all, hey dude, salute your shorts, what I like about you, you get it...)

I hate most reality shows on Network TV. I also hate sketch comedy.

Acrylics on canvas, Interior Design, 4x6 mailable collages, photography, when i had a sewing machine I enjoyed making clothes. Maybe I should get back on that.....I am also a contributing member of my friends awesome 'zine. the title of which may not be appropriate for here, so I will leave that mum. (ask me about it if you dare, i would love to swap 'zines) I am attempting to make my own 'zine with all the HANDMADE mail art have gotten and received over the years.

I dont knit but i wish i could. Im sort of "saving" that for myself when my good looks run out.
